    Vizio SV471XVT Sound/HDMI problem

Had lots of lightning in the area, lost both HDMI one and three, HDMI two and four still working, tv now loses sound when doing a channel recall especially when going from a high number to a low number channel or visa versa, I have to either cycle the tv off and back on or the cable box off and back on to get audio back again
At first I thought it was the HD Cable box having a problem after the lightning so I reset it by unplugging it for 10 mins, that didn't help so I tried a different tv hooked to same cable, it works fine with no loss of sound, I already replaced the main board in this tv and don't really want to have to replace it again.
    Any suggestions/help is appreciated. Thanks.

Sounds like Mainboard again unfortunately, take the back off and take some pictures of it an upload them.

I reset TV back to Factory Settings. that did Not help. I have been using the TV as it is and dealing with powering off and back on to get sound back, but today for some reason another HDMI Port failed while I had the TV on, so now I'm down to only 1 HDMI Port and who knows it may fail soon. so time to find another main board soon, I don't think it's possible to get parts for the HDMI circuits. May have to hunt for a new main board. hard to find and expensive.

I did find another main board, I replaced it yesterday, all functions work again. I hope I get it unplugged from AC power quick enough in future lightning/storms.
Now I have 2 bad main boards on hand 3642-0722-0150, one has no remote control functions but works good otherwise, the other has only one working HDMI Port but still useable.

Keep those on hand they may be useful in the future especially the one with IR issue.
