Hello all I have a Samsung S50FH-YB01 which I bought from kijiji as it wouldn't power on thinking it was just capacitors, it has a BN44-00222A power supply I changed the 3 fuses, and a few capactitors the 10v 2200uf with 18v 2200uf
the problem i'm having is the relay clicks and the red light stays on and the tv will not power on
i tryed unplugging both x and y sustain boards and it still clicks, the only time it stops clicking is when the component board (board with avi and hdmi etc) and the main board

Posting pictures of the back of your tv showing the boards with clear pictures may help you more with fixing your problem

Cmmon issue on these boards is cracked solder joints, check the solder joints on the devices mounted to the heatsinks.

Resolder every device mounted on a heatsink.

Samsung 59" plasma PN59D550C1F seeking advice on mystery power board issue
                          by Cooperr
I picked up this TV from Facebook Marketplace, original owner described it as "screen went black after a pop" and I hoped to see an obvious fuse or cap to replace. Doesn't seem to be the case, but my experience and electrical knowledge are kind of limited for this.

The power board (BN44-00445A, see attached) turns on and Vs and Va seem to momentarily have power, then they steadily drain to zero over a minute or two as if they're only getting power from capacitors. I've been measuring Vs and Va from the test pads, with and without the other boards connected to the power board...

                          Hi all,

TL;DR - this laptop is driving me nuts with the oddball power-related behaviors. Appreciate any insight you can provide!

I'm experiencing a power issue on an Asus Probook P5440UF-XB74. Although I've worked with electronics and computers for decades, this is my first attempt at getting into motherboard-level component troubleshooting. Any help the community can provide is greatly appreciated!

A few weeks ago I was using the laptop (on battery power) for a Zoom meeting. The battery was running very low (long meeting) but I wasn't worried about...

Samsung Plasma TV Power Supply Issue
                          by lp20th
I have a vintage 2008 Samsung 50” Plasma TV, Model code PN50A550S1FXZA with a power supply part number BN44-00222A. I repaired the power supply board several years ago finding a couple of cold solder joints on the back side of the board and it's worked great up until now. Recently a fried sound occurred with the smell of burnt electronics and the TV shut down. Trying to turn it back on yielded the typical relay clicking with no TV boot up. Upon investigation, removing feeds to the other boards within the TV it was found that disconnecting the logic board from the power supply allowed the...

                          Samsung Plasma PN43D450A2D No Power
                          by CDNBrewer
                          Hello, I have a Samsung Plasma TV - Model # PN43D450A2D

This was my parents TV and the initial symptoms were that the display was hard to turn on with the display making various clicking noises until one day it would not turn on anymore.

I took a look and found a couple 1000uF capacitors (i believe on the low voltage size) that had leaked out their electrolyte and did not test well on a tester. I replaced them but still no dice.

When the TV is plugged in, there is no clicking, LED status lights (on PCB boards or the front display) and the power on button...
