Re: Samsung UN60ES6500FXZA Power Supply Issue
Since I could not find a schematic to identify the faulty parts for the BN44-525A, I just ordered an updated PSU board and it worked perfectly. After looking at other schematics around the BN44-525A version, I discovered that the BN44-526A would work. I want to thank everyone for the assistance. This is a great community to be a part of.

Re: Samsung UN60ES6500FXZA Power Supply Issue
I replaced all the parts listed above and got the same results, 9.7 volts on ICM801 pin 7. Does anyone know where I can get a schematic for this power supply BN44-00525A? I would like to check all the resistors between icm801 pin 7 and QM852 collector. Thanks for any help!

Re: Samsung UN60ES6500FXZA Power Supply Issue
Greetings again, I have ordered ICM801, CP811, CM812, CM807 and CS805. I dont know what the values are for the ones I circled in red. I dont have a schematic for this board. I feel like it would be best to replace all these parts. What do you think?
Thanks,
Randy...

Re: Samsung UN60ES6500FXZA Power Supply Issue
Ok, I measured across CP811 and got 14.5v. I removed CP811, CM812 and CS805 and checked for a short or open. All three charged up as expected, no shorts or open. I guess I need to buy a good capacitance meter at this point. I am not sure where QM852 is located. I circled it in red in the attached pic. I measured 14.5v on the emitter....

Re: Samsung UN60ES6500FXZA Power Supply Issue
I removed ICM801 and found that it wasn't destroyed, but no idea if it is bad. I lifted the leg of RM807 and it tested as a dead short (.5ohm on continuity test).
This would explain why TM801s has 0V on the hot side. I havent reach the knowledge of where I can "see" whats going on in the circuits. I know how components operate, but I dont know how they play together! Trying to get there!
I attached pics....

Re: Samsung UN60ES6500FXZA Power Supply Issue
I reinstalled everything, powered the TV on without mainboard plugged in, there were no backlights. I measured across CP814s as you suggested and got 401v. There is 5v across CS854, so thats good. I got 0V across CM858 and CM859. Should I pull DM853 and DM854 and test?...

Re: Samsung UN60ES6500FXZA Power Supply Issue
This repair kit is for a BN44-526A, I have the BN44-525A, not sure if there is any difference in output. The board is physically different. I have the schematic for 526A and compared it to my board. They are close but not exactly the same....

Re: Samsung UN60ES6500FXZA Power Supply Issue
Thanks for the responses. As I stated in the original post, I already disconnected the mainboard from the power supply and no backlights.
@nomoresonys: I did check and re-solder all the solder joints for the bigger caps, but not the small blue ones. I didn't see any damage on the board at all, no bulging caps, burns spots, etc. The board was very clean, not leaving me much to go on. I did check the caps correctly, but I find it hard to believe that they are all bad. The only thing that I can think of that might cause...
