I have a main board that has a pin from a component cable broken off inside the port. Any tips on removing this safely?

maybe you could get a couple of fine jewellers flat blades either side and lever it up
or see if that pin will take solder, solder some wire to it and pull it outComment

show the bottom of the board there - if the solder hole is big enough you may be able to suck the solder out and push a needle up past the solder-pin into the socket.Comment

We have an Lenovo Yoga 710 15ISK that we use as a secondary laptop. To cut a long story short, around May 2023, while traveling, I connected the laptop into an electrical outlet that was already switched on. Something made a "pfft" sound and the laptop refused to turn on after that. After getting back home, I gave the the laptop for repair to an informal repair person. He replaced the adapter and an internal motherboard part, but after he returned it I noticed that the LCD did not look normal. Problem
This is an LG edge LED lit LCD Display. The LEDs are on the bottom edge of the display. There are 2 bars (left and right) Each bar has many LEDs and a 6 pin connector. Each pin drive several LEDs thus is the highest current flow / heat junction. The weak lead free solder gradually fails with thermal expansion/contraction cycling and increases resistance. PSU will compensate up to a point, then when the current is too high, PSU just shut down the backlight causing a dark display. I have even seen one which the connector just fell off as solder points became completely detached.... -
Model is ideapad 1 15amn7 ,the board is 5B21J30218 HLS1C_HLS1D LA-L502P with ryzen 5 7th gen... The laptop came to me for broken hinges and displaying only the backlight on the screen...i repaired the hinges and tried booting and all i got was backlight on the screen,but caps lock worked, so i figured the screen or the flat cable was bad, i had the same laptop and connected the cable and screen from the other and the screen acted same, and original lcd works on the other laptop...so then i started removing wifi card and nvme and it started showing picture and i figured out the nvme was blocking... -
Hi guys! I realized you have a lot of knowledge here so i am hoping you could point me in right direction with my odd issue.
The Tv is a Philips 58PUS8545/12, it had no picture but working backlights.
Original T-con:
Opened the Tv and tested to unplug one ribbon cable at a time. With this test i could see that i got fine picture on both halves as long as there was only one ribbon cable connected, with two connected picture were gone.
First replacement T-con:
I thought it might be t-con and ordered new t-con from china(supposedly tested)... -
When I assembled dreamcast I mistakenly fastened long bolt and It resulted in
cutting tiny trace.
This tiny trace(Total width of white coating is 5.5mm) is between R337,R343 and IC101 and it is covered with white coating in the below screenshot.
Firstly I tried to bridging tiny broken trace with my own eyes...But it is totally impossible..So a week ago, I ordered G1200 Digital Microscope and I magnified this tiny broken trace with it.
But It seems that It is really very tiny trace So I plan to order 0.1mm coper wire from aliexpress in order to bridging...
