Lenovo ideapad 1 not recognizing NVME

Model is ideapad 1 15amn7 ,the board is 5B21J30218 HLS1C_HLS1D LA-L502P with ryzen 5 7th gen... The laptop came to me for broken hinges and displaying only the backlight on the screen...i repaired the hinges and tried booting and all i got was backlight on the screen, but caps lock worked, so i figured the screen or the flat cable was bad, i had the same laptop and connected the cable and screen from the other and the screen acted same, and original lcd works on the other laptop...so then i started removing wifi card and nvme and it started showing picture and i figured out the nvme was blocking the boot, ok i figured it was dead, and put the other nvme and now the board does POST ,but it doesn't recognize the disk, bios says no disk detected, but it show picture with new(used) disk, but when i put back the original disk it only lights the backlight on the screen...i checked voltage, i do have 3.3V on the connector...What to look next? Laptop is from 2023 and the disk is 4th gen of something i forgot, but the disk i used as for trial is an older disk wirh both keys, and the new one has only one key, but that should be compatible and shouldn't matter...i flashed the latest version of the bios already...

Is the "test" drive a M.2 SATA drive (with both B+M keys)? If it is, it's incompatible, this model only supports M.2 NVMe PCIe Gen3 or Gen4 SSD (M key) according to PSREF
    https://psref.lenovo.com/syspool/Sys...5AMN7_Spec.pdf

It ships with M.2 2242 SSD, if you install a 2280 SSD remove the standoff from the 2242 position

As an exception, there are some NVMe SSDs with B+M keys, mostly OEM versions, check the label on the "test" SSD if it really is NVMe (not SATA)

Lenovo IdeaPad 3 14ADA05 NVME keeps randomly disconnecting
          by pcwhiz24
This issue has me stumped! I have this Lenovo IdeaPad and the SSD (NVME) keeps on randomly disconnecting. It'll stop being detected in BIOS randomly and when I turn it off and back on sometimes it'll detect again and boot up just fine...only to crash after a few minutes and either boot again or stop being detected.

          Things I tried so far:

          - Reset the CMOS by removing battery, held power buttons 60 seconds, all that jazz.
          - BIOS is fully updated (had to use CHA341 because I bricked it the first time trying to update it)
          - Tried multiple working NVME drives...

ASUS ROG STRIX B550-I GAMING - M.2_2 port not working correctly with SAMSUNG SSD980 1TB NVME SSD
          by DynaxSC
          Hi,

I have an really very weired issue with ASUS ROG STRIX B550-I GAMING.

Some NVME (PCIe) SSD's are not working correctly in the second M.2 socket. An example of it is the SAMSUNG SSD980 1TB NVME SSD.
Some other NVME (I have only smaller ones) disk do work without any problem, also SAMSUNG disks, eg an MZVPV128HDGM-0000.

The behaviour is also really very strange, i.e.:
          • The disk shows always up in BIOS - so it is recognized, so far so good
          • POST-ing with this disk with fresh Windows 24H2 installation (done in the M.2_1 socket) in the M.2_2 socket
          ...
