    Lg42lw4500

    I have a problem with LG42LW4500 TV, when it's powered the red power light goes off but there is no picture or sound. Only the standby light starts flashing blue, nothing else happens, please advice

    Posting pictures of the back of your tv showing the boards with clear pictures may help you more with fixing your problem

              Ok so this table here:



              Corresponds to this connector here:




              Plug the connector back in, and with a piece of wire link together 3.5v to pwr-on and with another piece of wire link 3.5v to drv on

              Like this:



              (Obviously the image I've provided doesn't match the holes you will be jumpering. But do it the ones I've pointed out above)

              Plug in tv and see if the backlights come on.

                Hi all, sorry for responding late. I have tried the above test method, the screen/ backlights comes on but they are not stable "ON", they flash. the screen flashes

                  I'm not sure if the wires i linked makes loose connection or something

                    Well have you tried moving the connection to see if it helps stop the flicker ?
