Still clicking after replacing eeprom Samsung LE40M87BDX

As I have said in title TV relay is clicking.
Opened back, someone have tried to resolder caps on BN44-00167A power supply board. So I have just installed known good BN44-00167A board and TV still clicking. Then taken out BN41-00813E mainboard and replaced eeprom with blank chip. Installed back to TV. 1 click and after 15 seconds back into usual clicking.
Where is a problem, I have already 2nd mainboard exactly the same?

    First photo original eeprom
    Second photo empty eeprom
    Third photo BN41-00813E Bottom
    Fourth photo BN41-00813E Top

    Am I doing something wrong?

i have had a problem with these model tvs not turning on, and found though this forum that there are 2 SM caps under the shield on the main board that needed replaceing,
think it was 100uf, tv is now fine with no probs.

I will try to remove shield. Will check caps this evening. Are you talking about those bigger ones next to BGA chip?

yes, just replace them 2, thay are a bit of a prob to remove so be carefull, i have pulled the tabs before,
i replaced with normal caps and layed them down so the shield would still fit

Finally I have manage to remove cover. Removed caps. I imagine they are 10V 1000uf. One measuring 960uf the other one measuring 910uf. I will try to replace them.
I am wondering could I try mainboard without metal cover? I know that this is as heat sink, but how hot are those two BGA chips?

Are you sure they are 1000uF, that will be quite big in dimensions?

I have removed two big caps underneath of cover on top of them says V0012 1000 10T. I imagine this is 10V 1000uf capacitor see photo. The other photo of the space where metal cover was. I have highlighted places with red cross where capacitors were.
Unless I have removed wrong ones. There are only one that looks like 100uf, one is 47uf and others are 82uf.

They look big so you probably correct that they are 1000uF (some cap companies will use 1001 = 1000uF), 101 = 100uF, 100 = 10uF) since you verify with cap meter.
They are part of switching power supply. Do you have ESR meter?
Did you also try heating up that section under the shield to see if the TV will function mormally?

yes, those caps are quite often faulty.Another problem that can also arise with those is a loud crackling through the speakers as it tries to start up.
Becoming increasingly common,it also seems the solder cracks underneath the dtv processing ic,also under the screening tin, causing the same issue of clicking, usually as the set is warming up.

OK. I will head back to my workshop and I will try to replace those capacitors as one is on the lower side.
I do not have ESR meter. Will put in "to buy" list.

Update. Replaced those two capacitors with 10V 1000uf. TV turns on. No clicking. Will do more testing now.

Great! The old caps are still within 20% tolerance so they probably have high ESR.

Replaced capacitors for the second exactly same mainboard with the same symptoms. It started working too. Capacitance were good, most probably ESR out of range too
Will do further testing and will update later on.

I'm wondering, this can be the case on newer TVs as well, where there are no big capacitors on the board?

I have UE40C6505UK sitting in a corner with bad main board. BN41-01444B BN94-03588P this main board forces power supply relay do clicking noise. Biggest problem there are only SMD components and few BGA chips. At the moment I do not have spare time to try to trace what is wrong with it. If someone would give a clue would be great.

The service manual says there is no EEProm connected. I approached Pioneer and they said to swap out the DSP board. All said and good but the DSP board is $860 USD. I am hoping someone can help me

1). Understand the schematic and check the connections between the EEProm and DSP
2). Check the functionality of the EEProm

I don't know if this is the unit's problem but it's a place to start.

I have little to no electronic experience...

                                          PSU - BN44-00878A

                                          Symptoms:

The TV turned itself off, and I haven't been able to turn it back on. The standby voltage was unstable and lower than it should be.
A weak clicking sound was coming from the transformer.

                                          Progress:

After the transformer, I measured four Schottky diodes. DM862C and DM864C diodes readings were 003 in both directions. After detaching them from the circuit and measuring them, DM864C was the shorted one. These Schottky diodes are SB550.I...

Damaged EEPROM on TV Vizio E320-A0

                                          Hi everyone

I´m trying to repair a TV Vizio E320-A0 that I found in the street

The symptoms are it doesn't respond with remote or buttons, the LED indicator is always off and also there is no image on the TV.

The power supply board works fine (I probed the terminals with my multimeter) but in the main board the EEPROM doesn't works correctly because the voltage on the pins doesn't match with the parameters of the datasheet.

So, I´m going to replace the EEPROM with a new one, but the problem is that my programmer (CH341a)...

                                          APC Su3000inet charging problem

                                          Hello everyone!
I just bought APC Ups3000inet which is not charging batteries. Ups was delivered without batteries so I just bought 4x12v 17aH connected them in series 2x24v and..... Nothing.
So I look inside and begin to check resistors and caps.
Of course R38 and R43 was fried but still managed to be 0.500k ohm so I have replaced them for 1k which is in schematic and all caps besides AC ones 1500uf/75v X3.
When Ups have connected batteries and I plug it into AC it falls in some kind of bootloop I can hear relays clicking and nothing happens I have to click shutdown...
