Re: Sharp aquos LC-40LE810E
Without the service manual the only thing I've managed the drum up on the interwebs is that code 2 - 2 is some unknown power supply failure. Let's not double down on that yet until we find out from the service manualLeave a comment:

It does look like 2-2. I did not get the service manual to see what the code 2-2 is yet.Leave a comment:

Re: Sharp aquos LC-40LE810E
Look at the video that's an interestin blink code.. that's like 2 - 2.
Led failures are 1 - 1 blinks. Meaning one long and one short blink.
Tcon and panel failure is two long, five short blinks.
You're getting two short blinks. Now this could be code 2 - 2. I'm not sure. Unless we are really seeing 1 - 1. Then that would indicate led failure or backlight failure as sharp would put it.Leave a comment:

Hello
Sorry it took me so long. I fall asleep after night shift. Here I uploaded some photos of power supply and mainboard. I hope you can see everything you need. If not, just let me know. I will try to take better photo.
Here is video of flashing led.
Code:https://sendvid.com/6uwvzgz8
If I am correct it should be power supply error. But I don't know how to get some secondary error.
I tried to start tv and to measure voltage on led output. But I couldn't measure anything. I can try to measure it again.Leave a comment:

Re: Sharp aquos LC-40LE810E
yes as budm said please upload pictures of the back of the TV I worked on one of these before. Actually I worked on quite a few of them. You may have led failure if you have one long one fast blink. this model is plagued with LED failures in the strips. mostly the upper right hand LED burns out on the right top side strip of the TV. before jumping to conclusions so I should recommend that you test to make sure that your power supply is attempting to output dc voltage to the LED strips.
worst case scenario you have to remove the bezel and the lcd panel and all the diffusers to access the led strips.Leave a comment:

Re: Sharp aquos LC-40LE810E
I just found service manual online. I found out, that I have to push menu button to get secondary flashing. It was said to use remote control. But I don't have any. I hope, i can use menu button on front panel, can I?Leave a comment:

Re: Sharp aquos LC-40LE810E
Hello
Thank you for your quick answer.
Led is flashing only maybe 1 second flash, 1second flash 1 second pause. I will upload some video, so you can see it by yourself and we can avoid misunderstanding.
When I hit power button on touch panel, tv seems to trying to start up. I can hear change noise from power supply but led won't light up. After maybe 10 seconds tv will go back to flashing.
Unfortunately, currently I am at work. I will make you video of flashing, photos of all boards.Leave a comment:

Re: Sharp aquos LC-40LE810E
Please up load good clear pictures of the whole back side of the TV so we can see all the boards, then the pictures of each board.Leave a comment:

Is it one long flash followed by two short flashes and over and over again?Leave a comment:

Sharp aquos LC-40LE810E
Hello
First of all I am not professional and not native English speaker. So sorry in advance, if I don't understand something on first time. I have basic electronic knowledge, multimeter, soldering iron and skill. I have a lot of experience in xbox repair, modifying, ....
I have Sharp LC-40LE810E tv.
I think there is faulty power supply. I found a lot of threads here but I couldn't resolve my problem.
When no try to turn on my tv, it won't start. It won't even light up led tubes. I can hear some coil noise from power supply. There is only flashing middle blue triangle (standby probably) led.
It is flashing like. Flash, flash, pause. And again.
I tried measure both led tubes, I am getting same resistance on both of them, so I assume tubes are good. When I try to measure led tubes output I am not getting any voltage. I was checking there aren't any leaking capacitors.
I tried many reset tv combinations, it didn't helped. Optically I can't see any damage or burned parts.
Could you guys guide me what to measure or try to find fault? Or at least help me to figure out what part is wrong, so I can buy some power supply replacement.
I will provide any pictures you will need, just let me know and I will provide everything needed
Thank youTags: None

by scubacamperI found another post on this site the other day which has been very helpful in troubleshooting this issue I am having with my tv. The left half of the screen is dark, and the other half is VERY slow to generate it's image - and it only generates part of its image at that.
Based on this yt video, I have narrowed it down to an issue (short?) on the left side of the display, somewhere in the system of ribbon cables.
when I remove the bezel and the rear cover, I can get the image to display correctly by manipulating the ribbon cables on the left side which connects the left lower display... -
by sefosterI have a Sharp Aquos LC-80LE757U that randomly made a loud popping noise when when watching TV one day. We found that the fuse blew and the thermistor. We ended up replacing the entire power supply board and have also replaced the TCON board. Now as soon as I plug the TV in it lights up and has the Sharp logo flashing on and off of the screen. If I unplug the ribbon cable from the TCON board to the main board I get the 2 long 5 short error code. Any ideas on where to go from here? We've tried resetting it but nothing has worked. If we plug it in and let it cycle through the flashing of the Sharp...

by foxyUKCan anyone help me diagnose this? Almost not worth bothering with, but it has 'sentimental value' for the owner. I'm no TV technician, but dabble a bit.
The TV has standby power but no reaction at all to switching on or reboot steps, No flashing lights or response to menu button. All voltages on the power board are correct apart from missing voltage on pin 12 of CN7003.
There is 13 v on U7053 but no 3v signal to switch it on. I don't really understand whether the 3v should come from U7401 in the standby control area, or (as suggested elsewhere) from the mainboard via pin 12.... -
Hello esteemed gentlemen. I have owned this LCD TV since 2012. The only repair was the replacement of the PSU a few years ago. Apart from that, no issues. Recently, all was working fine until I switched on to see it appear as so. The day before it was working fine. There is sound. Could this be a T-Con board issue? If not, what could it be? Thank you.

by olegeislerGot this SHARP AQUOS LC-70LE836S for free - did some basic troubleshooting, and found manual - without detail schematics though. Comes from a meeting room with extremely few working hours.
Symptoms :
When connected to mains, the logo blinks continously, approx 6 times per 10 seconds.
A press on MENU as per the manual changes this to one short blink, one long and then repeats.
Only 5V ( Standby ) on PSU module present, no AC_DETECT, no 12V, no 13V, no PS_ON from mainboard.
As I see it mainboard has some kind of life, but does not... - Loading...
