Re: Sharp aquos LC-40LE810E
Okay. I understand. But all resistors I currently have are much over 1kohm (10,21,....)
I will be able to get resistor tommorow or monday. As soon I will get resistor I will post results. If I buy 500ohm, is it ok?
And what about that PNL-POWER?

Re: Sharp aquos LC-40LE810E
I am sorry, but pin 12 has 0V. I misspelled that, since I was posting from mobile phone from work

(PD-1-2)UR13.2V(SIGNAL): 12.9V
(PD-3-4)S13V.2(AUDIO): 12.9V (its not misspelled, its written like this)
(PD-5-6)SGND(AUDIO): 0V
(PD-7-8)SGND(SIGNAL): 0V
(PD-9)AC-DET: 0V
(PD-10)PS-ON: 3V
(PD-11)BU5V: 4.9V
(PD-12)PNL-POW: 0V

Re: Sharp aquos LC-40LE810E
If I am correct, he should be able to pull AC-DET HIGH by removing the AC-DET wire from the PD connector and then connect that wire to a 330~1K resistor, another end of the resistor is BU5V and see what happen.
There is also this thread that I found about AC-DET for the same TV model:

Re: Sharp aquos LC-40LE810E
OK: These are are the pin names.
PD connector
PIN 1 - 12,9V UR13.2V (SIGNAL)
PIN 2 - 12,9V UR13.2V (SIGNAL)
PIN 3 - 12,9V S13.2V (AUDIO)
PIN 4 - 12,9V S13.2V (AUDIO)
PIN 5 - 0V SGND (AUDIO)
PIN 6 - 0V SGND (AUDIO)
PIN 7 - 0V SGND (SIGNAL)
PIN 8 - 0V SGND (SIGNAL)
PIN 9 - 0V AC-DET:
PIN 10 - 3V PS-ON
PIN 11 - 4,9V BU5V
PIN 12 - 12V PNL-POW
According to the flow chart page 6-1 of the service manual:
'Is there the pins (9/AC_DET) of P9601 at “H”? So check pin 9 of P9601 (MAIN BOARD CONNECTOR), more likely to show 0Vdc. It should be >2Vdc for NORMAL.Last edited by budm; 10-09-2015, 05:09 PM.

Re: Sharp aquos LC-40LE810E
Sorry I was measuring with mainboard disconnected. Now I connected mainboard and started to measure again.
I was measured as was advised. Touched probes and turned on. Turn off. Change probe to another pin and turn on again....
So final voltages are:
PIN 1 - 12,9V
PIN 2 - 12,9V
PIN 3 - 12,9V
PIN 4 - 12,9V
PIN 5 - 0V
PIN 6 - 0V
PIN 7 - 0V
PIN 8 - 0V
PIN 9 - 0V
PIN 10 - 3V
PIN 11 - 4,9V
PIN 12 - 12V
Sorry for bad measuring before

Re: Sharp aquos LC-40LE810E
Meter in DCV, Black probe on the chassis, Red probe on either pin 1 or pin 2 (pin 1 and pin 2 are tied together so it does not matter if you use pin 1 or pin 2), then turn on the TV power switch and see what you get.
You might as well check all the Voltage of the PD pins, you MUST put the pin names after the Voltage readings so we can tell what else is missing.

Re: Sharp aquos LC-40LE810E
Sorry for my stupid question. But as I said I am not professional electrician.
How should I measure that?
One probe on Pin 1 second probe on Pin2 on DC, right?
Because I am not getting any voltage, when I measure that like that.

Re: Sharp aquos LC-40LE810E
No I couldn't find whole board. Its Just from some polish site i found on google images. Here I uploaded some photos of board. I think they are better. But I couldn't find any tool to connect them together. Do you think it will help and dou you will be able to read that? If not I can try to do that in paint maybe

Re: Sharp aquos LC-40LE810E
Check the Connector PD pin 1& 2.
Where did you find that picture? Is there the picture of the whole board?

Re: Sharp aquos LC-40LE810E
Your pictures of your power supply board (DELTA DPS-126CP-1A) are cloudy and not in focused for me to be able to trace out the connections of the board or able to read the pin names of each pin of the connectors. I also need good clear pictures of the bottom side of the board. Shopjimmy does not have good clear picture either.
You need to check the UR 13V pin on the power supply board.

Re: Sharp aquos LC-40LE810E
Wow, you are quick.
So that means my failture is
Power Error 2 UR+13.5V error (*2) ?
Could you guide me a little, where should I start to check voltage? And mainly what shoul I be lookong for?
Thank you
/edit
On page 41 I found some volage guide. Is it that? can I measure voltage only with connected power, or should I connect power supply to mainboard and everything?Last edited by Nightmare0; 10-09-2015, 10:30 AM.
