Re: Sharp aquos LC-40LE810E
But that user fixed it by replacing all optos, didn't he? I am going to keep this tv in my bedroom. I am not.going to profit on this tv with questionable life span.

Re: Sharp aquos LC-40LE810E
Thank you very much. Now I will put tv together and test it. Sorry for my mistakes. You managed to help me even my lack of electrician knowledge and not perfect English. This experience made me to learn a lot of interesting stuff. I hope this thread can help someone in future. I can see, there is donate button on the bottom. If I donate, will you get something?
Co-worker said, he also has some broken tv in basement. Maybe I will make another thread to help him. But first I will give you some rest :-) it had to be exhausting to work with me. Thank...

Photos of 68k resistor fix
Also found out, that that red led (D3301) on mainboard is still flashing while tv is on....Last edited by Nightmare0; 10-13-2015, 10:33 PM.

Re: Sharp aquos LC-40LE810E
Budm, you are right. It worked only once.
So again sorry for your time while I soldered resistor to.wrong place. That's what you will get when you solder at 6 am.
So now...... Again, one more time .
This time I soldered 68k resistor on right place.... Put everything back. Tv is working. Now it's time for measuring. Tell me what do you want to measure. Is this resistor final fix? Or should I buy something?

Omg.... I am tired and retarded..... I really soldered that resistor on top of.wrong resistor. f-ck, sorry for your time.... Going to fix that....

Re: Sharp aquos LC-40LE810E
You want ne to measure voltage between marks + and - vcc1? It will take me some time,.since its back side of pcb and I am putting it back to tv every time. I have to figure out. Just tell me if to measure between these +- pads. I will solder some wires and.measure

Re: Sharp aquos LC-40LE810E
I put it on R7019
In that post he is saying R2019 but its typo. If you check photo he really soldered it to R7019
Please check that photo I added in post 63, if I am measuring in correct way.
Leg 3 of PC7703 with 68k resistor soldered on top of existing resistor according my photo to gnd I got 1.68v

Re: Sharp aquos LC-40LE810E
Leg 3 to gnd is showing 1.68V. Tomorrow i will buy 10 more optos and change all of them again

Re: Sharp aquos LC-40LE810E
I just added 68k resistor. I forgot to take a photo. Now between 3 and 4 opto leg I am getting 3,06V
Tv didn't started. On AC-DET pin 9 I am still not getting any voltage.

Re: Sharp aquos LC-40LE810E
On opto there is:
Cosmo
1010
817
K20
These are original. I measured pins between 1 - 2 and 3 - 4 like in this photo. Is it correct? I found pin numbers like that on google....

Re: Sharp aquos LC-40LE810E
Sorry I confused you. First time that trick was working I used 570ohm resistor. I just plugged resistor next to pin 11 and other end of resistor to pin 9. I never tried that without resistor. Just after opto change that resistor trick didn't worked again. Same as I put original optos back.
That voltages from pin 3 and 4 I got to GND. Voltage of PC7703 between pin 1 and 2 is 0,99V and between 3 and 4 is 2,56V (this voltage goes to 0,08v after tv starts to show error code)

Re: Sharp aquos LC-40LE810E
PC7703 legs 3 -2.1V and 4 -4,9V
Should I solder that 68k resistor on top of other now?

Re: Sharp aquos LC-40LE810E
Ok, i will do that as soon I will get from work.
I don't know how these optos work. Which legs should I measure? I will post results of all optos, so you can check that.

Re: Sharp aquos LC-40LE810E
(PD-1-2)UR13.2V(SIGNAL): 13.01V
(PD-3-4)S13V.2(AUDIO): 13.01V
(PD-5-6)SGND(AUDIO): 0V
(PD-7-8)SGND(SIGNAL): 0V
(PD-9)AC-DET: 0V
(PD-10)PS-ON: 3V
(PD-11)BU5V: 4.99V
(PD-12)PNL-POW: 0V
I am getting these voltages only when I plug tv to power. Because after while, tv will show error code and only 5v is present. Should I try that resistor on top of that second resistor?Last edited by Nightmare0; 10-13-2015, 06:29 AM.

Re: Sharp aquos LC-40LE810E
Here are photos after I put all original optos back. You can check, they are in same position. I added photo from shopjimmy so you can check they are really in proper way. Also photo of that red led. Red led is not still on. It is flashing like: maybe 20 seconds on, off for few seconds afaing 20 seconds..... after few flashes, led will turn off and nothing else happens.
I was not using TV with this fix. I tried that once, when I first tried for maybe 30 seconds until I took photo.
After opto change, it started to act like that. So how bad...

Re: Sharp aquos LC-40LE810E
Here are photos, after I changed all optos. I noticed they are not same brand. 2 of them were sharp and 2 of them different. Also I checked if I am fitting them in correct way. There is sign 1 on motherboard for dot in left top corner. Also there are marks on side and motherboard like half circle. So I am sure I fitted them correctly....
