I noticed something today, if 8 removed the tcon connector pin power from psu board I get 12volts on PNL pin 1 & 2 2 which immediately drops to 0.but when I connected the tcon I get 2 volts on pnl pin 1 & 2 and drop as usual. By the way the I think there might be some problems with the tcon cuz I see some black mark on the tcon Pl female comector. Here is ten attach pics

Damn! Some sad doubts comes... I have supplied externally 12v to the tcon leaving the PSU tcon supply connector disconnected, before i switch on the tv i switch on the ext. PSU, the voltage falls to the same 7V, when i switch on the tv suddenly tcon voltage become 12v but after some secs tv goes in protection with the same 2 flashes and tcon voltage falls to the 7V. I have done researches on tcon, none of the power semicon tests in short with tester current in, also tested one internal mosfet of a pmic. I'm sad...

'KIA378R12PI' That is the common failure Switched 12V LDO regulator IC.

The 13,2V output supply rail is regulated by the fixed linear regulator KIA378R12PI (Q7909) that outputs 12v normally, with an enable pin, as the d.sheet says the eanble pin (Vc) activates output when is >=2v, mine is 3v from the PNL_POW signal so i think the KIA doesn't work well.

Hi, i have the same TV with same problems as Jstone, apart the fact that i have not put any new resistor, i have changed the PC7703 opto with a good one and now i have good AC-DET signal, then i've changed the rest of the 3 opto with no changement, i have from seconds by the power-on and for some seconds a tension of appr. 7V on PNL-12V then it decreases to 0 slowly. Now i will study the PANEL SUPPLY that is probably a separate supply stage.

PNL-12V should be pin 1 of PL connector.

If AC-DET is high while ever PS-ON is high, it means that the AC-DET is working properly.
So which way forward? At the moment am not sure about the next step to take maybe Budm can throw more light in regards to 12V PNL connector pin which I can't located on the motherboard except PL on the inverter board. Can guy help me located PNL-12V connector pin since guy have same TV model

I am also noticed something and don't know if it's unusual with regards to PC7703
Both PIN 1 and 2, I get 2 volts which stays steady immediately I turn on the power of the TV but keep on fluctuating but never drops down beyond 2volts. It stays at 2volts but keep on fluctuating.
For PIN 3 and 4,immediately I turn on the power of the TV, I get 4 volts and it immediately back to 0 volts when the red light on the motherboard goes off.
I will upload pic of the red light on the motherboard for reference

No sir. The voltage on pin 1 of pc7702 stays on and dosnet dissaper. I measure about 2volts

Sharp Aquos LC-70C6400U Half Screen Dark
    by scubacamper
I found another post on this site the other day which has been very helpful in troubleshooting this issue I am having with my tv. The left half of the screen is dark, and the other half is VERY slow to generate it's image - and it only generates part of its image at that.
Based on this yt video, I have narrowed it down to an issue (short?) on the left side of the display, somewhere in the system of ribbon cables.
when I remove the bezel and the rear cover, I can get the image to display correctly by manipulating the ribbon cables on the left side which connects the left lower display...

Sharp Aquos Lc-80LE757U flashing Sharp on screen when plugged in
    by sefoster
I have a Sharp Aquos LC-80LE757U that randomly made a loud popping noise when when watching TV one day. We found that the fuse blew and the thermistor. We ended up replacing the entire power supply board and have also replaced the TCON board. Now as soon as I plug the TV in it lights up and has the Sharp logo flashing on and off of the screen. If I unplug the ribbon cable from the TCON board to the main board I get the 2 long 5 short error code. Any ideas on where to go from here? We've tried resetting it but nothing has worked. If we plug it in and let it cycle through the flashing of the Sharp...

Sharp Aquos LC-32LE600E, No 12v as no PNL_POW
    by foxyUK
Can anyone help me diagnose this? Almost not worth bothering with, but it has 'sentimental value' for the owner. I'm no TV technician, but dabble a bit.
The TV has standby power but no reaction at all to switching on or reboot steps, No flashing lights or response to menu button. All voltages on the power board are correct apart from missing voltage on pin 12 of CN7003.
There is 13 v on U7053 but no 3v signal to switch it on. I don't really understand whether the 3v should come from U7401 in the standby control area, or (as suggested elsewhere) from the mainboard via pin 12....

Is this white-washed screen caused by a faulty T-Con board or panel? Sharp Aquos c70le735x
    by thesharpfella
Hello esteemed gentlemen. I have owned this LCD TV since 2012. The only repair was the replacement of the PSU a few years ago. Apart from that, no issues. Recently, all was working fine until I switched on to see it appear as so. The day before it was working fine. There is sound. Could this be a T-Con board issue? If not, what could it be? Thank you.

SHARP AQUOS LC-70LE836S only blinking - freebie
    by olegeisler
Got this SHARP AQUOS LC-70LE836S for free - did some basic troubleshooting, and found manual - without detail schematics though. Comes from a meeting room with extremely few working hours.

    Symptoms :

When connected to mains, the logo blinks continously, approx 6 times per 10 seconds.

A press on MENU as per the manual changes this to one short blink, one long and then repeats.

Only 5V ( Standby ) on PSU module present, no AC_DETECT, no 12V, no 13V, no PS_ON from mainboard.

As I see it mainboard has some kind of life, but does not...
