hello all, I have this TV and upon putting the mainboard in the image is upside down, does anyone know how to alter it?

after my TV didn't turn on anymore I decided to find the problem.
I took my DMM and checked the power board - ok.
Then I decided to swap the mainboard for a few bucks. (Vestel 17MB230)
After the replacement I stumbled upon a faulty looking display image.
The picture size an the picture itself is distorted. (shown in the pictures)
I did some research found out, that somehow you can change the
display settings but I only found instructions for Vestel MB1xx Mainboards, not for the MB230.

The board in this TV originally is BN 94-18058M. This is the model straight from the factory. When I look this up it shows the model for the 55-in is what the board should be for. But I matched the numbers and everything and it should work.
I put the new board in the TV and I have a small line around the bottom left and bottom and the colors are off I assume the board is set up for a 55-in. I am currently in the service menu but I do not know where to navigate or how to change the board from 55 to 65.
Is this even a possibility and how do I do it please.... -
I have a TV, ( example ) Sony XBR-75X80G that the LED panel is cracked, does anyone know if we can take the LED panel from a ( example ) Sony XBR-75X80H and plug it in and it will work? Or if the panel measurements is not exact, can we take the internals of the cracked panel 80G TV and mount into the good panel 80H TV? Thank you06-23-2025, 09:19 AM -
Well, I will be the first to admit that I screwed up...
In attempting to replace the backlight in a UN65TU8000, I made a hole through one of the ribbon cables between the board that runs along the bottom of the back of the TV and the panel. This lead to a between a 1/4 to 1/2 inch vertical stripe running the full height of the image.
I don't have the experience; personally, to solder a bridging wire for the paths that were cut. So, I have been on the hunt for other Samsung TV's of similar size.

Failure Symptom
No picture, just red vertical stripes. Google search shows quite common problem for these recent Vizio M series although red vertical stripe pattern may differ. Some call it "Netflix" boot screen haha.
Where is the short?
Panel has 4x buffer boards. Quickly found the 1/4 panel buffer board with the problem by selectively disconnecting buffer board flex cables.
