From the service manuals that I have been able to find. I have to reopen the backs of a couple of them to get the info off of the sticker on the chassis.

I did confirm matching info on the TU8000 of 65B6AUOGT from the chassis sticker....

That is exactly what I am asking... Can the LCD.panel from one of these with a good LCD but other issues replace the one that has a broken LCD but otherwise working?...

I'm not talking about the mainboard; but the LCD panels on these.

I have pics of the model stickers but not of the sticker on the metal chassis of the TV's....

Well, I will be the first to admit that I screwed up...

In attempting to replace the backlight in a UN65TU8000, I made a hole through one of the ribbon cables between the board that runs along the bottom of the back of the TV and the panel. This lead to a between a 1/4 to 1/2 inch vertical stripe running the full height of the image.

I don't have the experience; personally, to solder a bridging wire for the paths that were cut. So, I have been on the hunt for other Samsung TV's of similar size.

I have the same model of TV with a similar issue. Instead of the right hand side, the center is dark on mine. I found the TV on my local Craigslist for free because the former owner didnt want to spend the $$$ to fix it.

I am techy enough to try to replace the backlight in this. This will be my first attempt to do so ever. I know that I will have to take apart the screen to get to the backlights; but, is there a video or walkthrough somewhere that could walk me through this?
