    Samsung UN65CU8000F Change board settings

The board in this TV originally is BN 94-18058M. This is the model straight from the factory. When I look this up it shows the model for the 55-in is what the board should be for. But I matched the numbers and everything and it should work.

I put the new board in the TV and I have a small line around the bottom left and bottom and the colors are off I assume the board is set up for a 55-in. I am currently in the service menu but I do not know where to navigate or how to change the board from 55 to 65.

Is this even a possibility and how do I do it please.

It won't help, you need to transfer from the old spi flash 25Q80 (T-con) board, it contains all the settings of the above panel, you may also have to rearrange the position resistors...

What about the old board? Where is its original motherboard?

The symptom was no red light, no voltage going to panel.

Well, if you don’t know where the original motherboard is, then I don’t know if this procedure will help or not (maybe it has the same characteristics from “55”) Look at this one, what is the marking on it?

sorry both of you are going to damage the replacement boards... no need to change any parts.... the value of all sizes are saved in the firmware... just change the register will write the correct data, have fun.

Yes Diah I changed the tv. When you say hard reset, do you mean factory reset from service menu? Or is there a different option. I have no issue trying things.

And lotas I have the original main board yes. There is a picture of 2 boards and that is a picture of the board with heatsink off

Edit Diah sorry I answered you in my head not neglect. I did a reset and it still shows model un55cu8000

That's where I made the change. In the photo at service menu it shows the new panel but it still shows old model number and TCON for 55.

Picture in post 12. This is after a hard reset.

So I did the writing type for panel and get success but the rest of the PDF isn't in here. There is no spot for sw model or model code at all anywhere that I see. Front color was the only thing I could change.

I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

                                          Hi There,

This TV was auto switching off after few seconds with some vertical lines on the screen, so got a new TCON board and replaced it.

After replacing the TCON board it was working fine and i set it up with everything, used for few hours, then had the bright idea to update the software on it. During the update process, TV switched off and now no audio or video. No relay switch sound.

Issue: No Power, Then Rebooting After Main Board Change

Short answer: replace main board and power board
Technical answer: replace main board and Q306 & Q307 on power board.

                                          Long answer:

TV wouldn't turn on. Power switch was fine which means the main board isn't processing the power on signal. Replaced main board. TV turns on now but randomly reboots. Bad main board? EEPROM? Tried to pull main board and got a shock touching the corner of the board. That's weird. C334 (450V 10uf) capacitor is still holding a high charge....

                                          Hi,

I have an really very weired issue with ASUS ROG STRIX B550-I GAMING.

Some NVME (PCIe) SSD's are not working correctly in the second M.2 socket. An example of it is the SAMSUNG SSD980 1TB NVME SSD.
Some other NVME (I have only smaller ones) disk do work without any problem, also SAMSUNG disks, eg an MZVPV128HDGM-0000.

The behaviour is also really very strange, i.e.:
                                          • The disk shows always up in BIOS - so it is recognized, so far so good
                                          • POST-ing with this disk with fresh Windows 24H2 installation (done in the M.2_1 socket) in the M.2_2 socket
                                          ...

                                          Samsung Power Supply Board BN44-00874F
                                          by Nicktronic
                                          Hey everyone,

This power supply board is hard to find but there are repair kits available. This board had a blown fuse, FP801S, blown PFC MOSFET, QP802CS and ceramic cap, CP809. I replaced them with parts I already had and tested the rest of the parts that would've come in the repair kit and they were fine. I powered the board up on the bench expecting, in typical Samsung power supply board fashion, to see all my output voltages but, nothing. 0 volts on CNL801, CNM801 and CNT801. The only thing I have is 170vdc on the filter caps. No standby voltage either.

                                          Anybody...
