Panasonic TH50PX60U Power Problem

hello i bought a Panasonic TH50PX60U its used and not working i was told it took a shock it has no lights or power and all the fuses on the power supply are not blown any suggestions?

do you have 5 volts stand by?
if yes check the s and k boards (power switch-power led)
many time I've see oxidation cut wire

Clear straight shots pictures would help... to point. Other than that, you need a multi meter to measure AC and DC voltages.

Check those capacitors that have the shrunken sleeves as well, they might be bad, or deteriorated.

You need to test various voltages. Are you confident in doing that? Have you a digital test-meter?
(I suspect 'no' to be the answer to both questions, from your previous posts....)

Be aware, a Plasma TV set has very high currents and voltages sufficient to easily kill you if you don't know what you're doing.....

--Also that its easy to make faults worse/blow up more boards and components by incorrect service procedures....
A Plasma TV set is definitely NOT the thing to start out repairing if you have no previous experience of electronics.

I doubt there's any faulty caps, Panasonic used good quality ones. More likely a semiconductor/IGBT/MOSFET/etc has failed. Plasma sets can be problems for even experienced engineers--Particularly Panasonic ones.......

yes i have a digital multimeter i measured voltages before and soldered capacitors before so where do i check for voltages and just ground of the tv frame?

FWIW I recently stripped a TH50PX60U, and have all of the boards on ebay, if you figure which is defective

I have the same TV and the same problem. So instead of making a new thread I'd like to ad on here and hopefully it will help the other gentleman out. I have attached the 10 blink before power button pressed flow chart from toms serice manuals. I have followed all directives on it and found myself at NO 14V at Pin1 of Connector P10 on the P-board. I would much rather find the exact fault instead of replacing the whole P-board, as I was trained to troubleshoot faults and replace components as part of my job in the Navy. If anyone on here could assist with the next steps in either halfsplitting/ troubleshooting the exact issue so that I may fix this I would be very appreciative. Thanks

Also I have included a picture of the P-board. It looks as though maybe 2 of the three 220V/900microfarad capacitors at the top may be a bit heavy. not sure if they are bad, how to test, or if that is an issue regarding no 14V due to no schematic or more detailed troubleshooting guide.

hello its still dead no red light etc or anything i read this may be the dg board? would this cause this to have no power and no red light etc thanks?
