Yes it still flickers. Also, I dont quite know how to describe it, but there is a very quiet but high pitched noise coming from the main board. I power the tv on, the log changes from dim white to bright white with a slight flicker, at the same time the noise comes from the main board that starts higher pitched then drops before going silent, kind of like a fan spinning down, there is also a blue light that comes on at the top left of the tv as you are looking at it from the back as shown in the attached photo. I have an E470va. When plugged in the logo comes on dim white, when the power button is pressed the logo does one of a number of things. The logo goes to a bright, with or with out a slight flicker, or the logo goes to a bright whit but everything flickers, the screen flickers white, the logo flickers, and the blue light on the inverter board flickers, all in sync with each other.
