I am looking at a sharp LCC4067UN LCD tv. when you plug the tv in to the wall no lights or anything. in a few seconds the red light comes on and blinks about 1 per second. it is a continual blink that doesn't stop until you unplug the tv.

Re: Sharp LCC4067UN Red Blinking Led
ok I have an update. I was reading in another post about holding down the input and vol - while plugging in the set to power. when I did this the tv came on both green lights are on and the backlight is on but only on for 2 seconds and then it shut down. so I tested the ps for voltages and all of them are there. including the 60v for backlight. so I am thinking it is either a inverter or lamp that I have a problem with. does anyone know a good test procedure to test inverter or lamps.Comment

Re: Sharp LCC4067UN Red Blinking Led
Ok have another update. I was looking at yet another thread and now I am getting the TV to come up in a service mode. it is very difficult to read as the backlight is only on for about 2 seconds but with a flashlight I can make out some details.
I pressed the input button and the vol - at the same time and then plugged in the tv. Held the two buttons until the green power light and green opc light were on. then I could see the small box with the K in it on the left side of the screen. this is with my flashlight as the backlight is not on. then I press the ch + vol + at the same time and the screen now goes to a screen with many details. I noticed one line that said "Error no reset 5" I managed to use the input button to move down to this and then held the power button and it reset that number. The tv still won't turn on normal. so I am thinking maybe my next setup would be to purchase a inverter board to see if resolves the errors.Comment

Re: Sharp LCC4067UN Red Blinking Led
I tried to do a firmware update but the TV shuts down before it can do the update. I have noticed that when the tv does turn on the backlight for the few seconds that there appears to be several of the lamps that are not turning on. so I don't know if I should purchase an inverter board or if there is a way to test to see if it is the lamps that are bad.Comment

Re: Sharp LCC4067UN Red Blinking Led
Measure each transformer on the inverter board with your meter in the Ohms setting. They all should be within 3% or so. Also you could disassemble the LCD, then you can check the CCFLs visually for any burn spots.Comment

Re: Sharp LCC4067UN Red Blinking Led
Ok last update.. I tested many places on the inverter board. I was getting the correct voltage but when the back light would come on I could see several lamps not turning on. I looked and found an inverter board for a great deal and thought I would try a new board just to see. I got the new board today and installed it. It fixed the tv. I have watched it for several hours and all the lights look good. Thanks for your help.Comment

by bajdikHello, on Sharp LC-40LE830E is everything OK. Working great. If I put the 230 V off and on again, it just blinking white standby LED. I can power on only via VOL- and CH+ and POWER button on TV. After that, I can power off and power on again without problem (by buttons or remote control) until the 230 V is connected. If i put the plug off and on again, just white standby LED blinking. TV needs three button starting again.. On the first look, the backlight looks great, no darker or lighter spots. Any idea what is wrong?07-21-2023, 09:05 AM

by clooI recently got my hands on a 60" Panasonic P60ZT60 plasma tv (european model) that has some strange issues along with an 8 blink code.
It know this tv is getting old but it was once considered one of the best plasmas ever made, and i think it is still holds on to that even by todays standards.
So, long story short. When i first got the tv it had a very bright washed out picture with very raised blacks in all picture modes and i couldn't find the cause in the picture setting menus.
After doing a factory reset this problem was gone and the picture was back to...01-06-2025, 06:02 AM -
by EazyBoneI write this to maybe help another with this TV.
So I aquired this TV a 2023 model. It started the 2 blink reboot problem which indicates bad panel. It was still under warranty and the repair man came by.
The Samsung repairman brought a brand new panel and switched my original boards to the new panel. The new panel then had the 2 blink error code. The repair guy said he has seen this and the MAIN board on this model will cause the 2 blink. He then replaced the main/power board (they are both connected) and put it back onto my original panel. Voila it worked.

by SdlewisSrI have a Sharp LC-80LE632U with a 2-5 blink code. I have narrowed it down to the T-Con/Panel. I get the error if both or either ribbon cable is connected between the T-Con and the Panel. If I disconnect both ribbon cables, I get no error and the TV powers up just fine.
Does anyone know if this is a definite bad Panel or is there a chance that the T-Con could still be at fault? -
by c00lmanhi, new member her and apologize if this has been discussed.. tried to search and most of the result are for LC-xxLe6xx series and not sure if it's applicable to the 745U.
the TV stopped turning on and after the V logo stayed solid for a minute or 2, it gives the 3 slow and 1 fast blinks which from what I researched are internal communication error.
did some voltage measurement on the power supply out.
Pin 1 and 2 = 0V --> PNL 12V
Pin 3 and 4 = 0 V --> GND
Pin 5 to 8 = 13V --> UR 13V
Pin 9 to 12 = 0 V --> GND
PIN 13... - Loading...
