I just replaced IC 801 with new one - not best soldering job, but other than its not as pretty as original one, Im think all connectors are soldered as they should. Any way, that didn't fix problem - still the same status lights and nothing else...
Is there anything else i should check?

Do you have TV with the same problem? I gave up on replacing components one by one and decided to find a power board for reasonable price on ebay. Found out there few power board models that can be used as substitute for this part and when saw one for $30 shipped plus $5 off coupon ebay gave me, I decided that $25 is fair price. Bought it and TV works fine now.

Yes, very similar issue and I was hoping to fix the PSU. I usually just buy new boards, but was hoping for a challenge on this one..
If I dont fix it by next week I will buy the board.. in the meantime, per budm's suggestion, I will start a separate thread..
