    Samsung LE19R86WD LCD TV Problem

    Hi all,

I have a Samsung LE19R86WD LCD TV and the screen has suddenly gone dark. You can still get a picture, but the screen is that dark it's barely watchable.

Is it a common problem, and is it easily fixed?

    Thanks.

Assuming you have tried the brightness contrast adjustment and a factory reset it could be a few things we really need to see the boards inside The pictures need to be clear enough so we can read the numbers on the board if they are not dont post them try for better ones - good light is the key.
Do you have a multimeter and soldering equipment and any experience in fixing tvs/monitors/computers ?
Please upload pictures using attachment function when ask for help on the repair

If you are seeing the pic and everything else is working then your backlight is not turning on. Either the lamps are defective or your Inverter is not getting power or perhaps the Main Board is not sending out Backlight-ON signal.

try unplugging your bl-on connector from the main board or power supply, see if the backlights pop on or are they on?

could be inverter board, try to post some pics, is your inverter separate from your power supply?

              problem with replacing lcd screen
              by mmccomputer
I have an HP model : 14-cf0011nf and I want to change its display screen (it has an original 14" full HD TN 30 pins panel) which works without problem but I want to put another screen with an IPS panel, the problem is that I tried several screens but there is no display except with the original screen, I never had this problem before I changed hundreds without problems but this PC is not 'accepted than its original screen
otherwise on the motherboard it displays edp and I don't know, do the panels I tried only work with the LVDS protocol?

samsung galaxy ao2s very temperamental after screen replaced
              by Chrissygizmo
Hi , I've recently replaced the screen in my Samsung galaxy ao2s, at first it wouldn't even turn on, it had the charging symbol on the screen when plugged in but the green circle wasn't going around to show it charging....
Ive eventually managed to get it on and working but it's very temperamental...

The battery icon always reads as 50% , when the phone goes into lock screen mode i sometimes can't get the screen back on unless I plug the charger in to get it to light up, also it keeps putting the camera app on.. u think it could be something to do with the side buttons. ...

              LCD TV Green/Pink screen problem
              by jimjoe123
I have a Dick Smith 37" LCD TV, Model GE6804. I am using it as PC extended monitor only.

Problem is while watching tv, I hear a semi loud click(like a electrical breaker tripping due to overload, just sound like it but no actual electrical overload), then screen is covered with green or pink. I can still see the original picture image but overlayed by green or pink. See attached images. Pink.jpg is what I see, and Normal.jpg is before green or pink screen, What I captured was pink screen, but about 80% of time it's green and 20% of time it's pink.

              Then each time...

Samsung un48ju6700 half screen ghosting problem
              by CityZen
This curved LCD TV has an issue affecting just the right side of the screen. It is not a backlight issue, although it might appear so from one of the attached images. The problem appears to be the right side of the screen not updating properly. Moving images on the very right side will leave a trail of ghost images. Although even just the computer cursor sitting still makes a vertical ghost band the entire height of the image. The color on the right side also looks like it doesn't have the full bit depth (the Windows background looked kind of dithered on that side).

              I went into...

Samsung LC32HG70QQUXEN - vertical and horizontal stripes across the screen
              by kotel studios
              Hi,

Just now my Samsung LC32HG70QQUXEN monitor gave up on me. On cold boots I get many vertical stripes going across the screen (see the attached picture). After it runs for 1-2 minutes those go away but there are horizontal stripes going across the whole screen no matter of the input and PCs I use. (couldn't take an picture of it since the image size goes to 20MB and the camera doesn't pick them up)

In a video about a 27" monitor with an similar issue the guy removes one resistor and supposedly the entire monitor goes back to life? For sure this fix is only temporary....
