    T-con proplem

Hello. I have Hitachi l37v01ea at the beginning the tv was somtimes freezing but my friend try fixing the t-con but made some mistake it have lines now, but it stopt frezzing. so I bought new aftermarket board on aliexpress but when I change it have negative image. There was a extra IC chip so I change it but then I just had some lines no image. What should I do try to take the IC chip from the old board and put it on the new one ? I think I would send the new board back, you might have gotten a bad one, if they send you another one and it does the exact same thing, you might have a problem other than the tcon.

This is proplaby the t-con because if I put the orginal then I have lines bud full screen but now with the new one. Double picture and small. Bud no lines.

maybe but if it's a new tcon and it don't work, why not have them send you a different one?, if you try fixing the one they sent you and you fail, then I doubt they would replace it.

If one board has more parts on it than the other then they are/may be not the PCB assembly. Manufacturer can use same blank board and stuff it with different parts to create more than one PCB assemblies as needed for certain screens, TV's.
What are the assembly numbers as printed on the bard code of YOUR board?

I thing that it will cost me more to send it back because we have only one post service here in ICELAND and they take more than this board to send it back sender say I have to pay the sending so I was hopping to fix this proplem here on badcaps with help from you guys.

could try ebay, could be iffy, might find someone with free shipping, should make certain that the tcon is a match for your panel.

This thread is about trying to get an Universal Main Board to work with a Sharp TCON and panel.

I have a Sharp LC-46D85UN TV that has had a main board issue. Since this model is from 2009, I am not able to find an exact replacement of the main board. Instead, I decided to see if I can future proof this tv by getting a Universal Main Board (T53U21.2) from China to work with the Sharp TCON (CPWBX4291TPZA) and panel. The universal main board supports a 8 bit dual channel LVDS interface whereas the TCON requires a 10 bit dual channel LVDS input. I have modded the LVDS connector to match...

Hello, I have a screen in where sometimes when I open it pop-up vertical multicolor lines (I would say the most of them are green). If I tun off and turn on the screen the lines dissapear or if I leave open the screen after approximately five minutes the lines gone. I measured the below voltages on the main PCB and on the T-CON board and the voltages are the same when it doesnโ€™t display the vertical lines and when it displays the vertical lines. Also, I cleaned all the connectors very good with IPA. I moved back and forth the connectors and the COF tabs but the vertical lines didn't displayed...

                                          Hello everyone,

I've recently been given a Sony 8k Z8H. It's got a white screen with two vertical black bars. At times it's given me the 5 blink Tcon code. Testing voltage on the Tcon I can see some low or missing voltage. I've done a basic visual check of cables and the COF. Not seeing anything obvious. The original Tcon seemed to have good caps until turning it over. On the bottom I found maybe 10 caps with both sides of the caps shorting to ground. I thought ok these caps and likely other components on the Tcon are shorted so let's try a replacement Tcon. I just received the...

TCL 50S535 bad tcon or panel issue?

Just bought this for 10 bucks yesterday hoping to fix it. The guy said water dropped inside from a dehumidifier hose and it started showing black and white vertical bars then went blank. When I got it home and turned it on it came on fine and displayed correctly but I was noticing faint vertical bars in the image. After a little bit I turned it off and back on and it was a black screen again. I opened it up to check for water damage and corrosion but didn't find anything of the sort. I cleaned the ribbons anyway and reconnected them but still got a blank screen. If I disconnect the right side...

Lg TCon test pins for screen test
                                          by alltvrepairs
                                          Hi,
i have a 65 Panasonic TX-65HX710E using vestel 17MB170 main and Lg tcon.

Few drops of water fell probably near COF and have no display. Tried removing tabs but no.part of display present as if tcon fuse open. However 12v is present and tcon can be felt warm enough that supplies are present. Backlight and sound ok.

Anyone knows if this TCon 6870c-0805A has any special test pins for rgb test?

                                          Appreciate your help....
