    Tx-p42x60b

    Hi

I've got a Panasonic plasma tv model number TX-P42X60B. No picture just led light flashes/blinks 3 times repeatedly.

3 red flashes I have been told is due to a faulty D board.

Has anyone come across this before, What is a D Board -I think the D board refers to the main board?

    Any help would be appreciated.

You may be able to narrow it down to the 3.3v section if the following is correct.

Blink Codes and what they mean :

1 blink STV 5v sense DG Board

    2 blinks 15v SOS D Board

    3 blinks 3.3v SOS D Board

4 blinks Power SOS P Board

    5 blinks 5v SOS D Board

6 blinks Driver SOS 1 SU / SD / SC Boards(SC energy recovery circuit)

7 blinks Driver SOS 2 SU / SD / SS Boards (SC floating voltage area)

8 blinks Driver SOS 3 SS Board (SS energy recovery circuit)
    9 blinks Panel Config. SOS
10 blinks Sub 5v SOS / Main 3v SOS DG BoardDTV 9v SOS / Tuner Power SOS
11 blinks Fan SOS PB Board

      Re: Tx-p42x60b

This is a very new set - 2013 vintage - no separate D board, it would be an A board fault. I believe the A board is identical to the TX-P42X50B series which may help in getting a replacement.

Thanks tom66 and selldoor. But I am I right to assume the A board is the main Board (theres plenty of them on ebay)

I just cant find anything that will indicate the letter what letter goes with which board

Vizio e601i-A3 - Has Sound and Display, But No Backlight - Bad Power Supply Board or Bad LED Bulbs ?
              by Tynan Dill
I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

              Assuming...

Hi, this is my personal laptop, which the original board (lets call it Board A) blew up PU8700 (TPS51486), making a hole on the board, i had left the laptop at my desk one day with the battery fully charged and didn't touch it for a week, but when i tried to turn it on it didn't
Thought the battery was dead, so i plugged in the charger then tried to power on, the power LED blinked once, charged LED still orange, unplugged the charger, plugged in again and I noticed the "magic smoke" smell, so i unplugged the charger, removed the back cover and saw the blown IC (the "magic...

Sony KDL-40Z4500 LCD with stripes and 9 blinks (possible BGC board or harness problem
              by huj3r
              Hi there!

I have a Sony Bravia KDL-40Z4500 which shows a colored vertical stripes pattern when turning on, with a central black shadow that slowly dissipates within the first 10 seconds.

Photo of the situation after the black shadow dissipates:

After this behavior the red LED will blink 9 times, then pause for a bit, and blink again 9 times, in a loop.

I checked the manual (available here) and this corresponds to "HFR error", quoting from the manual:

              > This indicates HFR Communication error. [ HFR Communication...

              by Hakuu
              Hi There,

This TV was auto switching off after few seconds with some vertical lines on the screen, so got a new TCON board and replaced it.

After replacing the TCON board it was working fine and i set it up with everything, used for few hours, then had the bright idea to update the software on it. During the update process, TV switched off and now no audio or video. No relay switch sound.

              More Details

              TV Model - LG OLED77G1PUA

Got the same exact TCON board from TVPartsToday and replaced it. But didnt transfer the EPPROM data (didnt...

              Sony xbr-65x900c main board issues?
              by jb_Bak
Hey guys great forum glad to have found it. I bought a Sony XBR 65X900C cheaply because it didn't work. No signs of life at all not even a light/led. All I hear is a brief high voltage sound when I throw the power to it.

Didn't see any obvious signs of damage so right away started checking voltages. This is what I see:
Power Board Connector that goes to Main board
              CN6401
              Pin 01 NC
              Pin 02 NC
              Pin 03 "BL_ON": 0V
              Pin 04 "N/C"
              Pin 05 "STBY 3.3V": 3.5V
              Pin 06 "GND": N/C
              Pin 07 "AC_OFF"...
