Re: Panasonic TC-P55ST50 - Not powering on
So the LED shows red, then nothing, then red again, then nothing again and continues doing that?...

Re: TH-P42C10 8 blinks
Thanks everyone for you replies. I'm going to order the driver IC, transistors and diodes for that part of the circuit and hopefully the fault will be fixed

Re: Panasonic TH-P42C10 8 blinks
Also on the SS board I disconnected the cables going to the SS3 and SS11 connectors and the TV switches on then, but there's no picture which is to be expected. Vsus remains stable and does not drop

TH-P42C10 8 blinks
Got this TH-P42C10 and it's giving 8 blinks(SS board SOS)
Number for SC board is TNPA4773 and although the SOS blinks indicate SS board, I figured it would not hurt to measure the voltages anyway. Ve, Vset, Vad and Vscn all measure within spec and remain stable. Vsus though starts at 187.7V and then drops to about 162V before the TV switches off
Number for SS board is TNPA4774. Ve measures within spec and remains stable. Vsus behaves the same as on the SC board, but that's to be expected. MID voltage which is fed back to the SC board, starts at 15.2V and then drops...

Re: Panasonic SC Board - BAD 30F131 IGBTs
For Panasonic I usually order from a local Panasonic agent. The parts are more expensive, but I don't need to worry about any fakes

Re: Panasonic sc tnpa5081 rebuild
I got one of these boards to repair. Going to slowly work through all the pages in this thread. Lots of helpful suggestions on what to check and so on

I also think it's defect panel

Re: Panasonic TCP50G20 10 Blinks
Do you have the stand for the panel? Ideally you should keep the panel upright between repair attempts using the stand, but if you don't have the stand then keeping the panel face down on the workbench would probably be the safest. Just make sure there is something between the panel and workbench to prevent scratches

Re: No sound on Panasonic Viera TV
Does that model have a headphone socket? If it does and you plug in a headphone, do you hear sound through the headphone?

Re: Need help with RCA rt2870 PSU
Can you see any numbers on the outside of the diode package?

Re: List of Bad Cap Manufacturers
Can't remember the make though, but I'm reminded of a few years when back I came across some caps who's capacitance was not even close to what it said on the outside of the can. Opened the can up and it was empty inside, except for a tiny ass cap soldered in at the botton. Sneaky bastards

Re: Panasonic TX-P46G10E - A-BOARD problem?
Had similar issue before with a Panasonic Plasma TV that somebody brought in from another country. Through the RF input the picture is good, but no sound(only hissing). Could not find any option in the user or service menus to change to a different sound frequency

Re: STB3.3v = 0.4V on Panasonic p42v10
For D503, have a look at this thread - https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?t=17969Re: STB3.3v = 0.4V on Panasonic p42v...?t=17969

Re: STB3.3v = 0.4V on Panasonic p42v10
The parts on the A board can be tiny and easy to loose. So be careful

Re: STB3.3v = 0.4V on Panasonic p42v10
You're measuring 4.2 ohm between STB3.3V and GND which is far too low. One or more parts on the STB3.3V supply line is shorted and pulling the STB3.3V down. That's why you're only measuring 0.4V. You must find out which part. Start by removing L5480 from the A board and then measure the resistance between STB3.3V and GND againLast edited by Neelix; 02-27-2015, 08:32 AM.
