If you really can't figure it out, sell the thing for parts.

Surprised Tom hasn't turned up to help actually.

You still never found out why you don't have the 13v rail?

Nope , I traced everything to c1671 and have voltage when power is applied but the pin point 13v audio. Is still 0.00 v and then everything goes low and to p fail so only thing that is left is SN board witch will be here tomorrow . After that idk I have a lot of ammo though !

Well the SN board , digital main , ss board were the culprits , power board was fine , but now I have these lines that were not there before . How do I get rid of them ?

With the set off reseat the ribbons in the corresponding area to the black areas. The panasonic tabs can be a pain. they should click slightly when they are correctly aligned. Do not remove them with the power on. Glad you got it to work.

Monitor Audio RSW12 - Green light, but no sound
                    by MOSSEP
                    Hi

Im hoping someone might be able to give me some idea of what may be wrong with my Monitor Audio RSW12 Sub.

Ive owned it since new in around 2002, so would really like to keep it running if I can, it was the first ‘decent' bit of audio equipment I ever purchased and is a little sentimental.

The issue I had was that it would power up with the red light, but sometimes the green light would not come on and I would get no bass from it. If the green light did come on though, I would get sound out of it.

I have already tried replacing all of the...

820-2610-A Sys onewire help, no green light. Please help from the gurus
                    by lcdcaps1
                    Hi

I have an 820-2610-A motherboard that has no green light.
I have noticed is when I do a SMC reset the light on the Magsafe blinks.
From My understanding, the sys onewire circuit is responsible for the green light on the magsafe
The sys onewire circuit on this model and others is more involved
I was hoping if anyone knows about this and how it works, can reply and let me know
I know this is an old model but I am sure there are people who still works on these or knows about them

I get 1.1v on the C7771 capacitor and will replace...

MBP A1286 820-2915 green light only, no start
                    by blazzelia
                    Hi guys,

I have this 2011 MBP - the company I was working for, bought it at the time for a project and gave it to me after that. Later on, I gave it to my daughter which used it for normal internet browsing and office apps. At some point the, now famous, AMD GPU issue hit this laptop as well. I disabled the use of the AMD GPU following some information I found at the time (the one that, at the end, one moved AMD kext drivers to a backup location). So the laptop was using the CPU graphics and it was ok for the said daily usage. I even replaced the drive with an SSD one and it was operating...
