Re: Can't find out what the rating of this cap is
Lol wow I had a blonde moment. I was looking all around the cap while it was on the board and didn't see it. Took it off and it clearly says next to the ground strip 100uf 35v. Lol thanks guysComment

Re: Can't find out what the rating of this cap is
Of course the only cap I don't have. Do u think I could use a 100uf 25vComment

Re: Can't find out what the rating of this cap is
It probably has ~24V going through it, so it would probably work fine but it would be pushing the capacitor to the limit and might not last too long. Are you sure it's 100uF 35V? It looks huge for that valueComment

Re: Can't find out what the rating of this cap is
If you have a 1000uf 50v It will work. Using a lower V rating when replacing a capacitor is asking for problems.Comment

Re: Can't find out what the rating of this cap is
That's what I was thinking but wanted to make sure. I will see if I have something I can harvest from another board lying aroundComment

Re: Can't find out what the rating of this cap is
ok thanks. I found two 35v 1000uf from another power board i had. I am also checking the diodes in the tv because the tv will turn on but no picture or sound. I checked the power on the power board and it will power up the 12v line and then after like 4 seconds will drop it then charge it and then drop it again. I checked the voltage on one of the resistors that was for the AC side and it would go up to 120v then drop to 65 volts then go back up to 120v. so im not sure what component it might be causeing that i was wondering if it was the square transformer with the two coil windings that you can see cause i think its making a humming noise when it has full power then the humming goes away when it drops voltage. Any insight? Also when I was checking the diodes i would hook up my dmm one way idont remember which side red was hooked up to anode or cathode but it would go up to like .278 on diode check and then if i reversed it it would show .238 and start climbing. A few of them did this and then i checked another and one way it read .378 and then the other way read OL. does that mean its no good?Comment

C841 is a common fault on this model (red poly cap centre of board), I would suggest replacing it too. Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!

by chth96When I tried to repair LG 29 inch CRT TV, I found that the ESR value of samyoung SMS capacitor(160v 2.2uf), which is very close to D1879 transistor, is 6 ohm.
Judging from above ESR Meter Table,I think It is necessary to replace this sms capacitor. So I visited local electronics shop, and I purchased 160v 2.2uf rubycon YK capacitor.
But when I browse through rubycon YK datasheet,I found that there is no ripple current rating for 160v 2.2uf specification. But On the contrary, I found 39 mA ripple current rating for 160v 2.2uf SMS capacitor.
Rubycon YK DataSheet (b...-

by corrizeHello, I search this connector (oxydated).
It's a fpc zif low profile connector. It come from camera sensor, it is very small : 0.3mm between 2 pins.
I ordered 2 from Aliexpress called « 0.3mm pitch » but one was 0.5mm between 2 pins and the other 0.6mm. In fact « 0.3mm pitch » seams to be the pad width and not the distance between 2 pins.
I can't find it. The other websites like mouser dont show the datasheet, and I can't check if it is 0.3mm between 2 pins ?
Do you know how to find this connector please ? What is the exact name for find it ?

by sam_sam_samThis Dell computer is a pain in the a** because of it only has one memory slot this computer only had 4 megabytes of memory and slower than shit I found a 8 megabyte memory module and it is better but still slow as shit the maximum is 32 megabytes of RAM but I was not able to find one I found some that are 16 megabytes but they are 1600/128000 type and I am not sure if this computer will work with this type of memory or not
Dose anyone knows where I can find a 32 megabytes memory module for this computer because the battery still works fairly well still I would like to use it on my...-

by temythGreetings! I have this ERP650-PS atx power supply, it is a relatively simple psu, the primary has a driver IC that controls the two main mosfets (two 20n60S5), together with a Classic Standby circuit with a PWM IC (not a FET like the VIper22A) , relatively similar to the SDC606P.
The whole point is that I got this power supply years ago when I had no knowledge, apparently the PWM IC was burned because someone turned the power supply on with the switch at 110v in a 220v network (classic error). Important detail: the power supply at the time came without the primary capacitors.
