So I had the time to take my TV apart again. I soldered out C601 capacitor. I measured it. It was 720nF instead of 820nF. I ordered the spare parts but unfortunately I didn't get them yet, I was just curious how bad they are. As far as I understand these capacitors are for interference filtering. Do they really influence the power supply of the TV?

Another note: Sometimes my TV's LED turns off and only comes baxk, if I unplug it from the wall for a few minutes. Does it make the capacitors more suspicious?

    Thanks for the answer!

      remove the comma... :-)

820nF minus 20% of tolerance is less than 720nF, so i think the problem is not there.. a filter is important when the input is dirt, when it is not i guess is irrelevant for the set, if

Hi Titus6, did you ever find the faulty cap?

          Hi Nousernameavailable!

No I didn’t. Right now I’m just dealing with my TV as it is. Still working, sometimes I have to
unplug it from wall socket and connect it again.

I spoke with a local LG service not far from me, but I didn’t take my TV to them yet. They said in the phone that according to my symptoms they guess my Main Board is the problem, but they have to investigate it in person. Unfortunately they don’t come to my house, I have to deliver my TV to the service. Since it’s a pain in the ass I only take the TV to them if my symptomps getting worse.

Long story short, no solution yet

Ok thanks for the reply anyway. I found some more info in another (German) forum https://www.repdata.de/wbb2/forum/in...t-das-netzteil
            I'm going to try replacing C601 + C602 with WΓΌrth 890324025047CS.

Thank you for letting us know your results. As Diah mentioned he already suggested this solution in this thread. I also ordered the same WΓΌrth cap and I will try it as well.

Hope it solve my issue too.

Hello guys. Finally the caps arrived and I changed them, and... half a year of stress and anxiety is gone finally. I can say that after two days of testing my problem is REALLY SOLVED. The Stand-by LED is always on. My TV was able to do the Pixel refreshing again.

I can't thank you enough you guys for sharing your knowledge with us.
Diah Your post was really the solution, I set it as the answer. Thank you for your effort, you're truly amazing.
Nousernameavailable Thank you for sharing the exact type of the cap (WΓΌrth 890324025047CS) what I need for the repair. Actually you gave my motivation back, when you wrote down the exact type of the cap.

                      Also one added note:
I checked the Power On/Off Status with the service remote. There are no more entries of I took a picture of the entries OFF_BY_EDID_WRITE and ON_BY_LAST_WARM. So this problem solved as well, now I know it wasn't normal to see these entries.

So guys, you are awesome and I hope this conversation will help others with the same problem.

                            JBL ES-150-P standby issue
                            by proditaki
                            Hello,

I recently bought a faulty JBL ES-150P subwoofer that was completely dead.
After replacing 2 open resistors (R255 and R256) in the DC Power supply the unit started working.

It plays fine. But when it wants to go into standby mode, after 10 minutes, it starts cycling for a while. (see video on youtube)
The noise from the speaker goes away and i'm pretty sure the interval changes and i only hear one relay clicking on the end (light still goes red/green)

After cycling for like 30 secs to a minute it eventually goes into standby....

QN750Q8FNBFXZA Service Error Codes Needed - Error code 1-3-1-2 ? Dead set, only blinking standby light in repeating sequence
                            by mecha1166
I am working on a QN750Q8FNBFXZA. Dead except the standby light. It blinks what appears to be 1 3 1 2. 1 long blink, pause, 3 short, pause, 1 long, pause, 2 short, pause, repeat. A service manual would be very helpful, or if anyone knows these error codes. Thanks!

MacBook Air A2337 (820-02016) USB-C Port Issue – Only Works in One Orientation (CC Line Problem?)
                            by rounin
                            Hi everyone,

I'm working on a MacBook Air 2020 (A2337, board 820-02016) and running into a strange USB-C issue. I've gone through quite a bit of testing and part replacement, but I'm stuck β€” hoping someone here can shed some light.

                            πŸ›  Original Issue
                            The machine initially wouldn't negotiate 20V over USB-C β€” stuck at 5V.
Diagnosis showed PP1V5_UPC0_LDO_CORE shorted to ground.

I replaced U3100 (UF400) using a donor board (A2179), and the machine powers on fine now.

⚠️ New Problem: One USB-C Port Only Works in One Orientation...

Three 820-01700 32GB Logic Boards Same Issue: Won't Wake From Hibernate
                            by ugamazing
I have three identical-spec 820-01700 boards (2.6/32/512), and ALL THREE boards came to us with the same fault, from different sources: The boards don't wake from hibernation with the keyboard or lid, they ONLY wake when you press the power button. I understand this is a very minor issue, but the boards must be fixed!

We will of course begin with the obvious (checking lid signals), but I couldn't help but notice these three boards were all 32GB variants. Has anyone noticed an issue relating to these 32GB boards in particular? I of course don't think it's a RAM issue, but it's bizarre...

                            Hello guys!
I have a strange issue with my laptop keyboard and I'm lost trying to detect what's wrong - the KB9028Q-C or the keyboard itself.
It powers on OK and has no other issues except the following:
                            • CAPS LOCK does not work at all
                            • Fn button toggles Flight Mode
                            • When I press 't' or '5', it produces 't5', and when I press 'y' or '6', it produces 'y6'
                            • (with SHIFT pressed: 't%' and 'y^' respectively)
I initially thought it was a keyboard malfunction (internal short, etc.),
but when I press and hold...
