So I had the time to take my TV apart again. I soldered out C601 capacitor. I measured it. It was 720nF instead of 820nF. I ordered the spare parts but unfortunately I didn't get them yet, I was just curious how bad they are. As far as I understand these capacitors are for interference filtering. Do they really influence the power supply of the TV?
Another note: Sometimes my TV's LED turns off and only comes baxk, if I unplug it from the wall for a few minutes. Does it make the capacitors more suspicious?
Thanks for the answer!

You got the point. In the following day I disassemble it again (need to do it anyway because I need the exact part number of the main board), and I will take pictures of the main board and the HDMI port area.
I'll be back as soon as I have the pictures.
Also answering your previous question yes, the LAN cable is alwayas connected. However as I read on the Wikipedia "EDID (Extended Display Identification Data) are metadata formats for display...

I had the time yesterday to do the Hard reset. I did the steps you mentioned above. After I finished the TV setup I checked with SR the In-Start menu again and I experienced the following.
1. The Power On/Off status wasn't cleared I still saw the list of OFF_BY_EDID_WRITE, ON_BY LAST_WARM entires.
2. The S/W Version stayed the same, didn't change
3. Micom Version stayed the same, didn't change
4. Boot Version stayed the same, didn't change
5. Only thing changed is the UTT obviously, so now the total usage time reseted to 0.
I'm...

Do you think it will solve the problem?
I found this document on the internet: https://research.encompass.com/ZEN/sm/OLED65C9PUA.pdf
I know it's not my TV type but on Page 32 I found this:
POWER_OFF_BY_ABN
Explanation:
Case1 : Pipe line overflow
Case2 : reboot to suspend Fail
Action contents:
Check & Change Main B/D
Do you think it worth the factory reset and might solve the problem?https://Do you think it will solve t...9PUA.pdf

Sorry if I sound a bit silly and ask too much, I'm not a TV expert.
So about VCC where should I measure it exactly? On P201, P251 or P252 connections?
I have the pin explaining table for each connection and I only see:
On P201 connection: 20VS (20V), PWR_ON (3V), 12VM (12V), DRV_ON (above 2.5V)
On P251 connection: 8-15 pins: 22VD (22V)
On P252 connection: 7-12 pins: 12VT (12V)
I can't find the the menu to delete the fault register. If I press In-Start button I only have the menu which you can see on my first attached picture. Check all of...1 Photo

I have two remotes the original and the service one. I checked the original remote with phone camera. Works as expected, no sticky buttons. There is no battery in the service remote when I don't use it, so it can't cause any unwanted interaction with the TV....

Hello David,
Thanks for your reply. Today at 9:00AM I disconnected all the hdmi cabels and USB cabels from the outlets. Only thing stayed plugged in was the antenna cable. I did a turn on-off sequence with the remote so I can see them in the entries. So I arrived home at 13:00PM and check the Power On/Off Status menu. It's still doing the same thing in the background. In 4 hours 10 new entries in the Status Menu (picture attached). I don't even know if it's normal or is it has any interdependence with the Stand-By LED.
I will check for shorts in the HDMI ports, but...1 Photo

Thank you for your answer. I have the exact same power board as in your Threat. Might worth a try to change the mentioned capacitors.
However my symptoms are different from yours. My LED just turns off for like 1-2 second then comes back on and it's keeps repeating it. I don't have to unplug it from the socket.

LG OLE65C1 Stand-By issue
Hello everyone,
I bought an OLED65C1 refurbished TV back in 2022 from a shop. The TV is awesome, this is my first OLED and I really love it.
However I have an issue with the TV since the end of last year. I noticed when my TV is in Stand-By, sometimes the LED goes off then comes back on. When do so it seem periodical. It only goes away for 1-2 seconds, than comes back on. The TV NEVER turnes off, while it's on, so it's not overheating issue or electrical power issue.
I bought a service remote (MKJ39170828) and checked the menu 3. Power On/Off Status. I took...1 Photo

Hello everyone,
I'm an electrical engineer working right now as a freelancer electrician, and electrical safety inspector since 2019. I have a family with two kids. I like to play games on my Playstation 5 console which I only can do at the late nights and at the weekend. I'm seeking new knowledge about everything what's intresting for me. I'm not afraid to taking apart electronical devices to inspect them and learn how they work.
I joined the site to get help in certain issues from smarter people than me 😁
