Thank you very much for your assistance. Unfortunately, the system is still unable to boot properly.
Next, we will need to recheck all related circuits.
As we are currently unable to find the schematic or boardview for this motherboard, the troubleshooting process is more difficult and will require a significant amount of work....

MacBook Pro A2442 (Board No. 820-02443-05) – Liquid Damage Repair Assistance
Device Information
• Model: MacBook Pro 14” M1 Pro (A2442)
• Logic board number: 820-02443-05
Original Issue
The device suffered liquid damage, causing a short circuit on the logic board.
Near the audio jack area, the CR852 capacitor pad was severely burned, creating a clear short-circuit path. The board could not power on properly.
Work Performed
Removed the short circuit by drilling through the board (bypassing the short path) in the CR852 area.
Current Status
• When powered on, the screen shows support.apple.com/mac/restore.... -
Sorry for the delay in updating—I kept getting 400 errors due to server issues.
Conclusion:
After replacing LT711, everything is working normally (no issues found so far).
After fixing the charging issue, the Touch Bar was not displaying, though touch input still worked.
Measurements:
PP1V25_AWAKE_IO ≈ 1.25V (normal)
SPI_DFR_CS_L ≈ 1.25V (normal)
DFR_1V8_TOUCH_CLK32K_RESET_L ≈ 0.6V (abnormal)
SPI_DFR_MOSI ≈ 0V
SPI_DFR_CLK ≈ 0V
(I measured other points too, but can’t recall them now.)

Thank you mon2 for your continued support!
Accidental Fix for Charging Issue:
While re-measuring points around U5200, I made a mistake and accidentally shorted Pin 1 of R5215 to Pin 2 of C5216 with my probe,
causing smoke! I thought I had completely ruined the board and felt terrible.
I quickly disconnected the power and battery, checked the main circuits, and found no shorts.
To my surprise, when I reconnected the power, the voltage stabilized at 19.7V—no more cycling!
I then connected the battery, and the charging current reached over...Leave a comment:

Thank you for the help!
the display has not been replaced, and I don’t believe this issue is related to the screen.
When testing in a bare-board state (no display or other components connected), the power supply ramps up to around 19.5V (not quite 20V) and then resets, cycling back。Leave a comment:

MacBook A2338 M2 (820-02773) Not Charging
Post:Hello everyone,I'm troubleshooting a MacBook A2338 M2 (820-02773) motherboard with a charging issue. Here’s the situation:Initial Fault:- L8430 was burnt. After replacing it, the system worked normally for about two weeks, then failed to power on.
- Without Battery:
- When connected to power, voltage ramps from 5V to 20V, then drops back to 5V, cycling repeatedly.
- After disconnecting F5200, USB-C voltage stabilizes at 5V, and Pin 1 of F5200 measures 12V.
- After Replacing U8100:
- With the battery connected, the system powers on normally, and the battery icon displays

Thank you for your help and guidance — it has really made a big difference for me.
At this point, I can confirm that UF115 is working properly, which gives me more confidence in the direction I'm taking with the troubleshooting.
However, I still haven't found a clear cause for the issue. To dig deeper, I just purchased an iCloud-locked A2337 board online. I'm planning to use it to compare and measure the circuitry around the CD3217, hoping to spot any abnormalities....Leave a comment:

MacBook Air A2337 (820-02016) USB-C Port Issue – Only Works in One Orientation (CC Line Problem?)
Hi everyone,
I'm working on a MacBook Air 2020 (A2337, board 820-02016) and running into a strange USB-C issue. I've gone through quite a bit of testing and part replacement, but I'm stuck — hoping someone here can shed some light.
🛠 Original Issue
The machine initially wouldn't negotiate 20V over USB-C — stuck at 5V.
Diagnosis showed PP1V5_UPC0_LDO_CORE shorted to ground.
I replaced U3100 (UF400) using a donor board (A2179), and the machine powers on fine now.
