I don't want to go much ahead with these discussions, i can't say it is the panel 100% , on some models there are failing caps.or diodes in the panel strip boards, this is the hope for you as you can fully restore it, then i want only to express again, how it is light years far watching at a power supply at this type of issue, i only want to say this example to lift you from unuseful tests, when i was troubleshooting my Samsung in the previous month, i also provided power to the chain MB+lcd with a tested atx power supply, no differences! 20A 12v! There is only a secret to reveal for me, how does these tv manages the informations stored in the panel spi flash, since deleting it changes no things.. it's hard to understand,, you can read other topics on how to find and troubleshoot these common issues, last thing, i read last week a Samsung document, where they says they sells panels that came out of production with defects, then they repair short circuits with the use of laser and a special circuit design, this lets me think that those fix are not so durable, but this does not explain well how certain panels produces many bad lines at a time, i read that a portion of the panels are organic substance, also this is a clue that them can vary the working state with age..Last edited by Davi.p; 01-03-2025, 03:27 PM. -

Go ahead and check all the diodes on top of the board, tv UNPLUGGED, meter in doide mode, expect .3 to ~.7, reverse meter leads for ol or 1.Leave a comment:

Start with a simple reset, unplug all cables from tv, unplug tv from power>press and hold power button on tv for 45 seconds>wait 2 minutes>plug tv into wall outlet and try it. If no joy, troubleshooting usually starts with checking voltages at powerboard. Tampatec explains it here for those that may need it, otherwise what are your voltages there: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XH9GfkGQX1I
those values are on the main board and the optical light is lit on the main board
please try to se if you can read a thing on BN44-01056ALeave a comment:

Samsung horse s**t, same as most of them, you can think about bad screen, or something very exotic else but the end is more or less not fixable , someone tries with ribbon cable pins masking but it's not professional solution, may it last some weeks, some months or?Leave a comment:

by MgiffuneI have a 60 inch Samsung UN60EH6000F flatscreen TV. The screen went black a few months ago Sound is good, backlight is good, no menu. I replaced the TCon board with a used board purchased from Ebay. It worked fine for a 3-4 months, then the screen started ‘fading' back. Once again, sound is good, backlight is good, no menu. However, this time the picture looks fine for about 10-15 minutes, then fades back. If I power cycle the TV, the display reappears, for another 10-15 minutes, then fades black again. Repeatable ever time.
I ordered a supposedly ‘new' Tcon board this time, and... -
by mrtekHi I am new to this kind of repairs but I want to learn..I have a Samsung UN65JS8500F. the TV used to work and I tried to fix darker areas in the middle only ( img 1,2,3). I thought the led strip were bad..not the case. I did not research in advance what kind and where the LED were located. In this model they are located vertically on right and left side. Took the TV apart and put it back together. Now the tv shows no welcome screen and no sound is available thru the speakers. ..just a black screen..Backlight LED do turn on...also noticed a 5 blink code , not sure if that was there before. I can...6 Photos

by mecha1166KDL-60EX500. Comes on fine, sound is fine, backlights come on. Blank screen. Already tried reset POWER/VOL-. Anyone else have this problem? Possibly bad T-Con RUNTK4244ZZ or panel? Could main or power supply cause this? There were 2 blown 560u 35v on power going to backlights but they were still working fine. Thanks for your help.

by stingerWhen I turn tv on, the backlights come on but there is no sound or picture. I have read that these tv's have problems with the panels going bad but the "no sound" has me questioning if the main board is bad. Is there a way to troubleshoot the main board to determine if that is the problem?

by mar1inHi everyone,
I've got this Samsung here that would be stuck in a boot loop.
After opening up and doing the tape block method, I was able to get it to turn on and play sound from the HDMI input, but with a blue screen.
Does that mean there is another combination of pins that I need to block in order to get a picture, or is there something more serious, faulty mainboard or faulty panel?
Thanks in advance - Loading...
