Picture wise it was perfect no red lines or anything. When I used the pc through it I never had 1 problem
i think there is crud in the hdmi ports causing this.

also check around the tuner on the main board for dry joints, lift off the sheild on the tuner and check the ariel connection there,re-solder that connection..

you ran the pc via the VGA on the tv?.

clean an reseat every connection to rule out also.the LVDS ribbon top priority both ends.

with tv running, flex all boards with insulated tool to see if fault appears again

Looks like panel setting is wrong. MENU 4-7-2-5 (or 7-9-3-5 or 1-3-2-5) and change panel option.

@tom in the service menu it won't allow you the option to change in the panel

Hmm, may be write protected - if EEPROM swappable you can try with a blank one.

The EEPROM is the chip in the socket, left hand side of main board.

As stated by the person I collected the TV from, it just stopped working overnight. However, I still gave it a go to try and repair it.

There is a thread on the same TV but with slightly different issues where they had to tape connection points on the ribbon cable, so I want to see if this is repairable by any chance.

After bringing it home and plugging it in, the TV turned on with its backlight working but had no picture. After removing the back cover, the first thing I tried is to unplug one of the ribbon cables and the situation is as follows.

                          Left...

                          Screen Display Vertical Multicolor Lines
                          by Stanley1843
Hello, I have a screen in where sometimes when I open it pop-up vertical multicolor lines (I would say the most of them are green). If I tun off and turn on the screen the lines dissapear or if I leave open the screen after approximately five minutes the lines gone. I measured the below voltages on the main PCB and on the T-CON board and the voltages are the same when it doesn’t display the vertical lines and when it displays the vertical lines. Also, I cleaned all the connectors very good with IPA. I moved back and forth the connectors and the COF tabs but the vertical lines didn't displayed...

                          Samsung QN50Q60t lines on screen
                          by jeyoung12
                          Hi all
I have lines on the screen...which is an age old problem that can be remedied by watching Youtube videos and getting out the tape.
My issue (after successfully fixing a different sammy tv with a separate tcon board and isolating the side of the panel...):

This tv has an integrated tcon...so it is a bit more confusing when trying to isolate the clocks.
It has a c ribbon and i have taken each end out to see if that will isolate the lines. instead, it makes it much worse ALL over the tv!

So....i don't know what end of the C ribbon to work with...

                          Samsung QE50Q67TAU - horizontal lines
                          by Rubenlily
                          Hello,

First of all I'm new here. While looking I found this amazing forum and I'm very happy I did. Now for my problem:

I picked up a Samsung UHD QLED QE50Q67TAU from 2021 for $50 knowing it was defective. The seller said it had black lines and that it could get stuck in boot randomly.

I've tried a new power cable, hard reset, opening up and jiggling all cables, pressing everywhere to see if I get a reaction but I've gotten nothing. I've tried the tape method but I've only managed to get the lines worse.

I'm no expert but I've done the tape...
