Samsung The Frame TV no power indicator issues diagnosing the one connect box

I got a qn65ls03ta from someone who stated shows no power at all. They said they bought a fully new tv (same one) and tested the one connect box from the old one onto the new one and said it worked.

I have no reason not to believe them, so I crack open the TV and test for voltages on the main board. There are none. I can't get any voltage at all. (Power comes from one connect to Main board then sends power to additional power board for backlights I believe)

While doing some digging I found the connection to the one connect cable ON the main board seems to be missing small pieces of the pin as shown in picture (very hard to get good pic) but you can see the far left pin is cut about 3/5 and two other pins along the way are slightly shorter then all of them.

Do we think this could be the whole problem? Connecting and disconnecting the cable damaged it and now the TV has no power.

Im likely buying the main board because it's logical but seeing what others here think. AND maybe this has been causing many others issues that they don't know about. We will see

    Edit

Anyone repair something like this? Not sure how it'd be done but maybe one of you gurus knows

Edit, something didn't smell right for myself and I took apart one connect box to find dead mosfet/transistor and possibly bad resistor as well. Clearly didn't do my homework. Obviously above isn't right.

I'll report repair when figured out.

Does anyone know what blue transistor I should use for this mosfet?
      t70r380p

I was taking it off the board because the whole area was covered in 27 lbs of silicone and it flew across the room and probably a gecko ate it.

I don't really understand data sheets, all I could read before getting it off was a number 4 possibly.

Thx lotas, I have a hard time reading these nor do I know if it tells me what blue resistor to use lol, is that data in these?

We are talking about this resistor, if so, what colors of the stripes on it are hard to see (orange - blue-silver - golden)?

Sorry blue transistor, it was buried. Generally mosfet has a 2kv 201 or something, I could not tell what this was.

Im still looking for it, wasn't sure if had a specific one that goes with a specific mosfet. Flew clear into the abyss and disappeared when pulling it off

So this is not a transistor, but a high-voltage ceramic capacitor.

There is a transistor next to it and there should be a similar capacitor with it.

Ahh, yes blue capacitor! That's what I'm looking for. The mosfet is bad and the only thing next to it, also buried is that orange thing shown in the picture, there's another one buried lol.

Yea I'm fixing it if I can, these boxes are stupid expensive. I just need that mosfet, the blue capacitor and a fuse which I am getting here soon.

I will upload a couple pictures I'm still trying to find out what blue capacitor I need! Gonna look for it with my wife tonight.

I'll upload in a few hours some pics, this OCB has 2 fuses, the first one is fine, the second one blew. Main caps and everything leading up to second fuse is fine and I get voltage on one side of fuse, just additional data

So here's the output voltage, I'm going to replace this cap-- I found it!!-- and mosfet/fuse and when I do if we aren't in working order I'll post. But here's the pic for ya just because

I don't know have any replacement mosfet for this so china gonna take a week or so before I get it and I post back.

                            Edit

Does anyone know why they put 2 magnets in the back of the frame TV? I really don't see the point of it. Kind of odd. Pic below

Looks like you may have to hard wire that pin on the left, it looks like a piece broke off??

Ya I know ! Hope the small amount of remaining pin may be enough, one thing at a time, since now I had to eat crow and realize it's the one connect box that blew up, then I'll see about this last pin. But if probably buy a new main board for $54 instead of something like that.. once this box is fixed then work towards the next step.

I have tons of them, but I don't particularly know how to match them up. None of them have this type, and I'm not literate enough in mosfet understanding to know of a replacement type.

I even went through non scrap boards searching for this type and can't find it.

Do you know what type could replace it that's common on a Samsung PSU?

You'll have to look up the datasheet of whichever transistors/mosfets you come across in your spare parts, but going on the datasheet of the original no MMT70R380P it's basically a 700 - 750V 11amp N - CH Mosfet, so whichever other mosfet you look up has to match those specs of the original no, also pay attention to the pin configuration with respect to GDS.

I picked this one up today.
Previous owner says no signs of life.
TV looks immaculate and its a 2022 model year so I thought maybe the one connect cable was damaged.
Got it home and put it on the Kill-A-Watt power meter and it was completely dead.

The TV model is QN65LS03BAFXZA - version: CB06

I immediately remembered EazyBone's Samsung The Frame TV no power....One Connect thread and am preparing myself to tear the One Connect open and hunt for dead parts.

                                          Will keep you all...

                                          Problem

This is an LG edge LED lit LCD Display. The LEDs are on the bottom edge of the display. There are 2 bars (left and right) Each bar has many LEDs and a 6 pin connector. Each pin drive several LEDs thus is the highest current flow / heat junction. The weak lead free solder gradually fails with thermal expansion/contraction cycling and increases resistance. PSU will compensate up to a point, then when the current is too high, PSU just shut down the backlight causing a dark display. I have even seen one which the connector just fell off as solder points became completely detached....

Hello, I removed the graphics card from my laptop and I want to heat it in the oven. What I want to ask is, is it okay to heat the card without removing the metal mounting frame on it?

As you can see in the photo, there is a plastic (black) gasket between the metal frame and the card. It sticks the frame tightly to the card.

I previously removed the metal frame while heating it, but it is quite difficult to separate it from the surface it is attached to. If there is no problem, I do not want to remove it.

What worries me right now is the possibility that...

                                          Hi everyone,

I'm hoping someone might be able to offer some guidance on repairing a Wine Enthusiast N'finity 170 bottle wine cellar, model 273 02 70.

I recently acquired this unit for free via Facebook Marketplace, hoping to fix it up as a gift for my wife. I have some basic electronic skills (comfortable with a multimeter, basic soldering, identifying components) but I'm definitely not an advanced technician.

The main challenge is that when I picked up the unit, the main control/power board had already been removed and the previous owner said it needs a...

Some new tvs have an LCD screen attached to the outside of the frame with foam tape. These are "edge to edge" as they are called. I am trying to figure out how to reattach an LCD panel back up to the frame. The manufacturer used 3/16 inch foam tape along the top and rh/lh edges. I used a razor blade to separate the panel from the metal frame. The metal frame that the panel is taped to is 1/4 inch wide along the 2 sides and top. I completely removed the residue from the metal frame. There is some residue on the panel itself along the 3 edges, I removed almost all of it using alcohol and...
