Hi everyone,
I'm hoping someone might be able to offer some guidance on repairing a Wine Enthusiast N'finity 170 bottle wine cellar, model 273 02 70.
I recently acquired this unit for free via Facebook Marketplace, hoping to fix it up as a gift for my wife. I have some basic electronic skills (comfortable with a multimeter, basic soldering, identifying components) but I'm definitely not an advanced technician.
The main challenge is that when I picked up the unit, the main control/power board had already been removed and the previous owner said it needs a new one. Unfortunately, I have no information from the previous owner about the original symptoms or why they removed the board.
I've visually inspected the board and don't see any obvious burn marks, scorches, bulging capacitors, or other signs of physical damage. The main fuse also appears to be intact.
My immediate problem is reconnecting the wiring harness to the board. I've managed to connect the plugs that seem obvious (matching connectors, keyways, etc.). However, I'm left with:
I'm hesitant to just guess, especially with the four heavier leads. I really don't want to connect power incorrectly and cause further damage to the board or other components before I even start diagnosing the original issue. The smaller two-pin connectors worry me less about causing damage, but getting them right is obviously important too.
My Questions:

My immediate problem is reconnecting the wiring harness to the board. I've managed to connect the plugs that seem obvious (matching connectors, keyways, etc.). However, I'm left with:
- Four unidentified leads: These look like they might be higher power connections (possibly for compressor, fans, heating element?). They don't have obvious unique connectors.
- Several small two-pin connectors: I assume these are for various sensors (temperature probes?), maybe LED lighting, or smaller fans.
- Does anyone have a wiring diagram, service manual, or even clear photos of the board connections for this specific model (273 02 70)? Particularly showing where these four main power leads connect?
- Are there any markings on the board or common colour codes I should look for to identify where these leads connect?
- Assuming I can get it wired correctly, what would be the recommended first steps for troubleshooting, given that I don't know the original fault? Should I just power it on and see what happens (lights, fans, compressor attempting to start)?
- Are there known common failure points or typical issues with this N'finity 170 model I should be aware of or check first?
