I checked with ohm meter top of strip went to one wire and bottom of strip went to other wire. I guess they could be two series parallel ckt.

Exactly that. If you check again you will find continuity with top wire and anode of 51st led and second wire with cathode of 50th led. I guess this way the circuit doesn't fail with open led in either/or of the parallel runs.

Stay tuned will have my glue tomorrow and will test my repaired strip hopefully by mid-week.

ok I scrapped this set and I have the 2 led strips and I'm sure some of the leds are ok so if you can remove them without damage to them. you are welcome to them. just let me know.

Does anyone have an extra right side led strip for sale/donation????

Finally got mine apart and the right side has some bad LEDs but don't how to "jump" the bad ones.... ???

Well this is a late reply lol but I had luck removing individual leds from a bad strip and using them in my strip.

I have a Samsung Led tv model UN55D6050. The red power led is blinking randomly. I have checked the power supply connectors which goes to the logic board and the voltages are fluctuating. The 5.3 V is steady by the way. Before I had this problem the tv set took 10 to 15 minutes to get started but this time it is not starting at all. Can you please give me some more info to solve the problem. Thank you.
