Ok so i got this sony 50in and when i plug it in I get 12 grn flashes and the screen does not come on. I pulled off the back and started testing voltages starting with the g1 board, now the top right plug is labeled PFC out (380v) when testing the voltage i get 321.1 volts and the other pin labeled PRI-VCC1 (120v) tested i get 39v to 41v. That indicates this board is not working right? well what can i do to get this thing working besides buy a new board? Any help would be apreciated.

by jimjoe123I have a Dick Smith 37" LCD TV, Model GE6804. I am using it as PC extended monitor only.
Problem is while watching tv, I hear a semi loud click(like a electrical breaker tripping due to overload, just sound like it but no actual electrical overload), then screen is covered with green or pink. I can still see the original picture image but overlayed by green or pink. See attached images. Pink.jpg is what I see, and Normal.jpg is before green or pink screen, What I captured was pink screen, but about 80% of time it's green and 20% of time it's pink.
Then each time... -

by NopyI have a Sony KDL-55EX500 which shows a solid green screen and I haven't been able to diagnose the problem. I was able to find a repair manual online and read a few forums on tv repair which pointed me towards it possibly being an issue with the power board or T-con board. Bad electrolytic capacitors seemed to be a common theme so I tried replacing all of the ones on on the power board, but that didn't fix it.
My next step was disconnecting all of the cables and reconnecting them. That helped a bit, showing a normal screen most of the time, but still switches back to solid green... -
by JunkmanJimboSamsung UN55J6200AFXZA Splash Screen Comes up, goes out, screen flashes one time and then tv won't turn off.
No picture. No sound that I can tell. Backlights are on and have been checked. Flashlight test no image on screen. I replaced the Eprom chip hoping that was the problem but nothing changed.
Please help. Thanks in advance! -
by Ryan.manHello everybody! Posting this in hopes somebody has some expertise that leads to a clear path of troubleshooting that saves me a lot of time!
My macbook has the flex cable problem, the one that prevents the screen turning on. Ive been dealing with this for the last 3 years. Last year it went dead and I managed to fix it following youtube tutorials. But my fix wasnt the best, the problem returned a month later. This week, it went dead again. I again tried to fix it.
This time the original cable broke too close to the screen, it can't be fixed without tearing the screen... - Loading...
