I have this panasonic plasma tv trying to get it to work.all research points to power supply issue.the issue seems to be no 15v that is produce by t301.looks like mc301 is not supply signal to power up transformer.I took out board mc301 going to replace ic trying to see any knows the value of capacitor around it.also I pulled this diode and did a test multimeter on diode tester.I get nothing one way and nothing the other way.To me this means the diode is open or this diode can not be tested this way.Any help would be appreciated.I have include pictures of the board and diode.

I am looking for diode that is in a panasonic power supply. The diode has a number t3d 64.also the part number is st03-82.if one knows where i can get one or replacement for it.also i test it in diode mode in meter no readings both ways.i am not sure if i can test it with out running current through it.
I know not shorted was not sure if it was open but as big as that diode is i am thinking it might be ok. I did not know if i could read it like regular did. The problem with power supply is i am missing 15v that comes out of mc301.which gives me 10 blink code going to replace tea1610t and caps near it with .1uf 50v see if it will work. Some mentioned that diode possible being bad that is why i was testing it.Attached FilesLast edited by tw2005; 03-07-2014, 09:51 AM.Comment

Re: Th-58px60u 10 blink error problem power supply issue
It's a TVS. It cannot be tested with DMM. Open circuit is good, under normal circumstances it will not conduct. Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!

Vizio e601i-A3 - Has Sound and Display, But No Backlight - Bad Power Supply Board or Bad LED Bulbs ?by Tynan DillI was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.
Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.
I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.
The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.
With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

by KYBOSHI have a floodlight-security camera that recently died on me.
its hardwired to 115v po115v outlet. One evening it simply died. After some troubleshooting (ensuring it had power and ensuring the electronics were actually functional by supplying 5v via usb port) i realized the power supply must be the issue. The supply was noticably warm to the touch even though it was not powering anything.
Trying to understand what i was up against i went looking for others with similar issues and anyone who might have attempted a repair. While a few ppl have had the... -
by Driver8This is on the power supply/backlight inverter board EAY57681601 for LG 47LH40-UA television. The supply failed when commanded from standby to run, taking out the main fuse. I'm trying to identify diode D601 in the inverter section where the package was blown apart and the markings are gone. Q601 and Q602 will need to be replaced also. If anyone can point me to a schematic that would be most helpful. Also would like to hear if anyone has repaired this type of failure before.

by lp20thI have a vintage 2008 Samsung 50” Plasma TV, Model code PN50A550S1FXZA with a power supply part number BN44-00222A. I repaired the power supply board several years ago finding a couple of cold solder joints on the back side of the board and it's worked great up until now. Recently a fried sound occurred with the smell of burnt electronics and the TV shut down. Trying to turn it back on yielded the typical relay clicking with no TV boot up. Upon investigation, removing feeds to the other boards within the TV it was found that disconnecting the logic board from the power supply allowed the...

by handsworthI was wondering if anyone else has come across this problem. What was the problem?, and was it solved. I recently picked up 2 of these tvs and both initially diagnosed as bad backlights. When turned on, the backlights flash the red logo screen. Sound and an image is clear using a flashlight. So I buy 2 sets of leds. When they arrive I take one tv apart and test the leds before removing them. OMG they all work. but I put the new ones in anyway. So I think its the power supply. I swap PS from one to the other and same results. Now here is the issue and really confused me. I reset the tv using...
