Hello! After the disappointment of my TV not working I researched on the internet and learned that particular model was prone to the stuck on the VIZIO logo problem.
I tried factory resetting it but it didn't work, so I took the back off and took pictures for you guys. I know nothing of TV's, so I can't identify a loose/bad connection just by looking at it. I'm so willing to put in the effort of fixing this, I just don't know where to start.
I know that there's already a lot out there on VIZIO TVs with similar problems but I can't use those resources without first identifying the main problem. That's where I'm hoping you lot can help.
I'm not sure if this is relevant or not but I first encountered the problem 3 weeks ago. It was the week I was leaving my college for winter break so instead of trying to fix it I unplugged it and left for home. When I came back from break I plugged it back in and it turned on! I was so happy. It worked for two days, and then I plugged my computer in using an HDMI cord, used the TV and unplugged the cord. Later that night it didn't turn on :'(. When it stopped working the first time it was right after I unplugged my computer from the TV via HDMI again.
It could have nothing to do with the main problem but I don't believe in coincidences. At the same time I feel like HDMI can't break a TV like that.
Anyways, any advice you guys can offer will be worth a million! Thanks in advance.
Here are the pictures I took, hopefully they are clear enough:
