then disconnect the connector only on the mainboard end that has the ps-on and 5vstb going to it and put 1 end of the resistor in the ps-on and 1 end in the 5vstb and power on the tv

            Re: pioneer help

Yes you need to perform the test with the resistor to see among other things if the mainboard is pulling down that 5.1v supply or if the psu is to blame.

We can pinpoint what board is at fault once done... Anything from 470ohms to 1kohm will do.... Even if they are taken from an old board. I have a feeling the psu is at fault.... Disconnect the entire main to psu connector and power the set on from the mains first... I have a feeling you will still have more than 1 voltage present

Pioneer PL-X9 motor speed control wobble
                by Bushcat
I'm starting to re-cap a Pioneer PL-X9 turntable, specifically the motor control board, because although everything tests out OK according to the service manual, the speed wavers slightly despite the quartz lock light remaining on. So, I've decided to re-cap that board since it's the cheapest next step...

Pioneer's passive component naming convention is clear to me. For example, CSZA R22M 35 is tantalum, radial leads, 0.22uF, 20%, 35V.

BUT there are two capacitors on the board which have actual Pioneer part numbers: PCL-042. I can tell they are 0.1uF, 16V but don't...

                ME Firmware Cleaning Guide
                by SMDFlea
Here`s a quick ME Firmware cleaning guide.

The guide is basic, its main goal is to show you how to use intel FIT,its highly recommended that you all follow the guide posted at win-raid

(The attached FIT version is 11, if your ME Firmware (FW) is not 11.0.*.* follow the win-raid guide. Use the tools version for your ME FW, for example: ME System Tools v9.1 For systems running ME v9.0 - v9.1)

A video, software (intel FIT) and practice bios are all included. I`ll post a better video and more advanced guide at a later date.

                1. Open the...

[Help Needed] Yatour YT-M06 (Pioneer 1) – Firmware or Schematic Request
                by EduCabral
                Hi everyone,

I'm currently working on reviving a Yatour YT-M06 CD Changer Emulator module for use with a Pioneer 1 interface (specifically with a DEH-P5950IB head unit).

While the unit is recognized as a CD changer, none of the USB, SD, or AUX features respond, which leads me to believe the firmware may be corrupted or incompatible.

                🔧 Details:
                • Model: YT-M06
                • Interface: Pioneer 1
                • MCU: Fujitsu MB89F202
                • Goal: Find a valid .bin firmware file or memory dump from a working unit

I'm happy to attempt flashing, analyzing memory dumps, or doing hardware-level...

Guide to transplant MEC1503 EC chip and EEPROM reprogamming for T14s gen 2 and X13 gen 2
                by acedogblast
This is a guide that I am writing for helping others to replace their MEC1503 EC chip if it breaks (or to get around an inconvenient prompt to the BIOS). This forum has been extremely helpful to me so I would like to contribute to help others. I will tell you right now that this task is very difficult to do. You MUST have experience and tools to do precision micro-soldering, BGA reballing, trace repair, and general laptop repair skills.

There are some specialty tools needed to do this task. The replacement MEC1503 chips can be acquired from Aliexpress. Do not buy the bare chips as...
