    Re: pioneer help

Your PSU is putting out 3.4v where it should be 5.1v that is not "putting out the voltage it should".

He can't reset the trap switch fault because he can't enter factory mode.

It IS possible you are not entering the keystrokes exactly right.

@phillies fan I saw you had another thread with a Pio what ever happened in your case ?

@suburu my fans do NOT come on after power up. They are likely temp controlled. The motherboard is covered by an input board so nothing can be seen behind it.

      Re: pioneer help

ill call some shops around town tomorrow and see how much they charge to simply enter in a code. if its too much guess ill have to take a loss. or another gamble with trying to buy a main board. theres only those 3 maybe 4 wires that are reading 3.4 where it should be 5.1. damn this tv

        Re: pioneer help

If you used the cadence I told you about to enter the codes it should have worked. That being said with a non-genuine remote we can't even be sure that the display button isn't mapped to the info button, which would of course would not work. Do you know of a Pioneer tv anywhere you could practice on ?

          Re: pioneer help

mine would let me reset it but then it would go right back into the trap switch fault and never let me enter the factory mode just a repeating problem which was caused by the mainboard i believe. it would reset but would go right back even with the trap switch jumpered.i didn't want to put any more time into it and didn't think it was worth putting any money into it.

Did you hold the "Ok" button for five seconds until the message popped up on screen "Factory settings have been restored..." ?

ive never gotten the tv to stay on so i can see anything on the screen. all i can see that the screen is working is it turning like a gray color when i hear the relay click but then it turns back to black.

I'm starting to re-cap a Pioneer PL-X9 turntable, specifically the motor control board, because although everything tests out OK according to the service manual, the speed wavers slightly despite the quartz lock light remaining on. So, I've decided to re-cap that board since it's the cheapest next step...

Pioneer's passive component naming convention is clear to me. For example, CSZA R22M 35 is tantalum, radial leads, 0.22uF, 20%, 35V.

BUT there are two capacitors on the board which have actual Pioneer part numbers: PCL-042. I can tell they are 0.1uF, 16V but don't...

Here`s a quick ME Firmware cleaning guide.

The guide is basic, its main goal is to show you how to use intel FIT,its highly recommended that you all follow the guide posted at win-raid

(The attached FIT version is 11, if your ME Firmware (FW) is not 11.0.*.* follow the win-raid guide. Use the tools version for your ME FW, for example: ME System Tools v9.1 For systems running ME v9.0 - v9.1)

A video, software (intel FIT) and practice bios are all included. I`ll post a better video and more advanced guide at a later date.

[Help Needed] Yatour YT-M06 (Pioneer 1) – Firmware or Schematic Request
                                            by EduCabral
                                            Hi everyone,

I'm currently working on reviving a Yatour YT-M06 CD Changer Emulator module for use with a Pioneer 1 interface (specifically with a DEH-P5950IB head unit).

While the unit is recognized as a CD changer, none of the USB, SD, or AUX features respond, which leads me to believe the firmware may be corrupted or incompatible.

                                            🔧 Details:
                                            • Model: YT-M06
                                            • Interface: Pioneer 1
                                            • MCU: Fujitsu MB89F202
                                            • Goal: Find a valid .bin firmware file or memory dump from a working unit
