hmmm. i only measured with the power on..... im confused though, the ac cord leads to the trap swithch which in turns leads to the PSU then to everything else. so wouldnt everything coming out of the PSU besides the one blue and brown wire be output?Leave a comment:

yea the connector labeled P8 the 4(i think) pins that should be 5.1v but are reading 3.4v. thats part of the output, correct? theres really only one input on the PSU. im sorry im not following what youre saying. P8 is connect to the mainboardLeave a comment:

did you replace your PSU or did you just get it to try to fix it? the reason i ask is because i did replace mine and at first the blue light would blink 13 times so my dad and i checked the voltage like mmartell said but when i went to show my dad what it was doing i realized the the blue and red lights were staying on like they should but i never did anything to it between those times it was like 4 days or soLeave a comment:

solid red/blue the whole time. ill plug it in and the red light on the main board isnt on the red/blue lights are on. ill enter the remote code the tv clicks turns grey, clicks again and turns black then the red light on the main board will stay on....Leave a comment:

yea, there was one last main board i found for $75 and it just sold on ebay today. wish i wouldve bought it then, now the cheapest one i can find is $175 and theres no way im going to take that gamble. i also still have until the 26th to possibly return this PSULeave a comment:

ive never gotten the tv to stay on so i can see anything on the screen. all i can see that the screen is working is it turning like a gray color when i hear the relay click but then it turns back to black.Leave a comment:

nope, ive even asked all my friends on facebook if they had one i could check with and no luck. its a pioneer brand and is the same exact model that came with the tv if that helps at all.Leave a comment:

ill call some shops around town tomorrow and see how much they charge to simply enter in a code. if its too much guess ill have to take a loss. or another gamble with trying to buy a main board. theres only those 3 maybe 4 wires that are reading 3.4 where it should be 5.1. damn this tv

yea i have a replica pioneer brand remote. i dont think its supposed to stay on either but i would think it would give some sort of error code and not just have the red and blue lights lit to tell me that its the trap switch. im just leaning towards a bad main board because it WAS blinking 13 times and the SM told me that may be the main board or PSU and with the PSU putting out the voltage that it should.Leave a comment:

im sure my dad does. ill get with him and see and let you know. any chance i could just be entering the code wrong all the time? would it be worth trying to call a shop and see if they can just attempt to enter in the factory mode from the service wire or something?Leave a comment:

yes, it is P8. but its not throwing any blinks anymore. just solid red and blue lights, when i first put the new PSU in it did the 13 blue blinks, i checked it a few times and they are just staying lit all the time now. any clues as to what to do next?Leave a comment:
