Re: Z50PJ240 Powers on then back off clicks but no picture
If Mohms then that's what i expect, Mine's about 3 meg vsus, 4meg Va and 5v is not steady but 1.5meg or so. They're not short, that's all I was concerned about.
So buffers not shorted, ysus power in not shorted, probably all you can establish apart from the zsus power in from the ysus.
All going well the PSU sorts it out, at least it won't be presented with a short cct when it comes on.

If the board is out flip it over the pin labels are underneath too. the legend on top for one of those is covered with a big blob of silicone so I could not read the pins that way.
On P1
1. 1.9meg
2. 1.06meg
3. nothing
4. nothing
7 through 11 1.22meg
On P2
on 4 and 5 2.5meg
on 7and 12 2.1meg
Well that's interesting, so different except pins 1&2 on P1 are the same conection should read the same. I'll try mine again later, not an exact science doing this, no shorts that's a positive.

I may take the board off and check it again tonight, going on 7am here have to be at work at 8 so I don't have time right now. Been up all night checking this thing...lol

Crazy stuff, but I've done silly things like that. It's just a TV, don't lose to much valuable sleep over it.

TW and TOM
I got the new PSU but haven't installed yet. The D304 diode seems to be open, so this could be defective. I have a pic of the diode and a video link of me testing it. Do you guys think this would give me trouble if I install this as is. I don't want to mess up anything else. I still have a good diode I could replace it, or maybe I need to send it back. Does it look bad to you guys?
