Just tried all those and nothing, did all while plugging in and holding for 5-10 secs, and also did all those combinations while plugged in and holding in for 5-10secs....doesnt help that these aren't physical buttons, there soft keys. Are there any remote combinations that sharp uses, i know my philips uses the remote for service mode, my philips has a pin you can short on the main board to get into service mode, does sharp have any features like that, or is it just strictly keys on the side of the tv?
I had the same 1-1 problem with a LC-52LE830U. I never did get it to turn on to reset the fault. I eventually replaced the mainboard. I'm not very patient though. What mainboard do you have?

The board part number is: DKEYMF733FM12 but from what I have gathered the only difference between the xxLE830U series and the xxLE835U series is that the 835U is 3d. But the service manual has them together. So maybe minor differences between the two,
I was looking at the schematics last night and found the chip that I think controls the power, and errors...and found a couple of pins named reset...tempting to short them, but to scared that I'll blow everything.
I think I have tried everything known out there, might just bite the bullet and buy another, just very disturbing that every time this happens thers no reset.
Hello, I have a LC-60LE810 and an LC-60LE820..... I cannot find the replacement smd leds.... does anyone have a part number or is anyone here willing to sell me one of their old strips so I can salvage the leds to repair my sets... Thanks.
how many LEDs are bad is it just one up on the top near the connector? I did two of these already and if it's just one LED you can get away with bypassing it by bridging it . Any more than that I would advise trying to find the LEDs you would send over current to the LED's left in a string and short them out as well.
I know I am 5 years late, but have you fixed the issue? I have some general questions regarding the same model and would like to know if you or anyone else could help me out.
Thank you.
I found a service tip from Sharp which said "replace this part". I confirmed the diagnosis by freeze spraying that part, because that made the set work again.
My Sharp LC-60LE835U has the 2-5 error code (2slow/5fast blinks). I was told,
"That code indicates 12volt absent from panel assembly FYI main board is about $300 power supply is about $200 then labor on top it could be a costly repair just saying"
Can someone provide me with the solution to my issue? Do I purchase a new or refurbish MB and Power Supply?
Would you recommend getting my MD repaired (if that is the only issue)?
read some more threads in and around this type / model of set... then check to see if indeed 12v is being generated by the power supply and being received at the tcon. If can't perform some of the checks, then following the advice that you were given ($300 plus $200) is probably a good idea.
