    Few question about your LC-60LE835U
I have the same set with the 1-1 error

What was the part # of the LED?
How did you reset the 1-1 error?

    Any help would be appreciated

    Thanks

Dang....ok so next question. Is this going to get worse until i have no picture at all, or is this the extent of it?...

How would one go about changing one of those?
    Is that a replaceable part?...

  • Samsung LN32A330 dark ring around screen

So I fixed the tcon board on this tv i found off craigslist, and now notice a dark ring around the screen.

Im posting a pic of what it looks like. Its not bad, on white screen, but noticeable on darker screens. Is this an image burn-in, or a ccfl light getting ready to go? AKA is this going to get worse anytime soon, or just stay like this for a while?

Also if it is an image burn-in problem, would running one of those burn-in screen fixing videos work?

Or is this an inverter problem? Or is this even reparable?

    Thanks in advanced....

  • Re: Samsung LN32A330 Gamma Voltage check.

Just checked those ones again, and still 0 for 14, and 13 was at 4.99 and slowly creeping up to 5.07 in about the one minute that I had it on.

Country updated. And yes I did read through the thread, along with many others trying to figure out where to test.

Edit: I can't find anything on my tcon board that says vgma1, 2, etc.

Just a quick question. I think I may also have a bad as15-g, when testing voltages on the pins, where should I get my ground from? The metal chassis, or the ground pin on the plug from the wall?

Also us there any particular pins I should do? I see some threads that only have 24pins of the 48 total listed, whare others list just particular pins listed.

    Thanks in advance.

So is there any other things I can try out?

I was looking at the schematics last night and found the chip that I think controls the power, and errors...and found a couple of pins named reset...tempting to short them, but to scared that I'll blow everything.

I think I have tried everything known out there, might just bite the bullet and buy another, just very disturbing that every time this happens thers no reset.

The board part number is: DKEYMF733FM12 but from what I have gathered the only difference between the xxLE830U series and the xxLE835U series is that the 835U is 3d. But the service manual has them together. So maybe minor differences between the two,...

Just tried all those and nothing, did all while plugging in and holding for 5-10 secs, and also did all those combinations while plugged in and holding in for 5-10secs....doesnt help that these aren't physical buttons, there soft keys. Are there any remote combinations that sharp uses, i know my philips uses the remote for service mode, my philips has a pin you can short on the main board to get into service mode, does sharp have any features like that, or is it just strictly keys on the side of the tv?...

There's only one fuse that I can see and its on the power board, and looks alright. Also when plugging in the old main board (the 3-1 error one) I can hear the relays clicking on and off just like before. So I think the power board is ok.

Just tried it and still nothing....

  • Re: Help with a Sharp LC-60LE835U

So......I may have done a stupid thing......This backlight is on special order and am told could be up to 3 weeks before I get it. So i tried plugging in my tv without the led strip, it lit up for about 30 secs, and the went out with the 1-1 error....thought no problem, when i get the new one it will come back(this thought was before i would later find out it would be 3 weeks) so once finding out it was going to be 3 weeks, I just said while im waiting il plug in the old one and use it till the new on comes in.....well i cant get this 1-1 error...

Will do.....but lets hope this doesn't happen again. I Think the part number was for both sides of the strip...at least that what it looked like in the manul...didnt have individual sides....jut top and bottom....and both top and botom are the same part number. And on the order description it said 60" led strip....So i may replace the whole bottom. and save the old ones....

Thank you for taking the time to look.

I finally found the correct part number, apparently sharp made a service manual just for the lcd panel, which I didn't have at the time. So found the official part number, searched google and found the only place thats selling them and bought it at $72 a pop....not cheap. Apparently it has to be special ordered, so it wont get here for about 2 weeks. Thank you everyone so far that has helped....

No, its two strips of 60 led's each, one strip on the left side and one strip for the right. The one on the left is what i need, and the strip is about 26.75" long including the power connector....
