OK, thanks to all of you for your help. I'll try to find a replacement board. Just one mpre question, though. Is it for certain not the power supply?

Well, you did not give numbers to three digits. The 24 volt numbers need not be so accurate. But the 12 volt number had to be. Also other voltages much exist and were not reported. So no. Nobody can say with certainty. Each answer is only as useful as the facts (especially numbers) it is based upon.

Having trouble finding the exact part. I found one on internet with
        # 715G3715-M01-001-004K (CBPFTQACB5K04302), but I need
        # 715G3715-M01-000-004K (CBPFTQACB5K00708).
That's close but I'm reluctant to use it. Any thoughts? Thanks.

I'll do the readings again and give more precise answers. What other voltage readings can I take? Thanks.

Re: Vizio E371VA lightning surge - no pic or sound

You already verify that you have main board problem because it is not sending the PS_ON, BL_ON to turn on the power supply, and you can force the power supply and the backlights to come on.
The 12VDC (not critical) is used for the audio power amplifiers for driving the speakers, beside, the main board has many LDO regulators to regulate the voltages needed for the main board.
When you look for the replacement board, you need to use the numbers as printed on the barcode sticker, it is the PCBA number, the white printing on the PCB is the P/N for the blank PCBwhich can be stuffed for a bunch of different TV chassis.

                      by Tynan Dill
I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

                      Assuming...

what i went through dealing with my mobo with dead onboard sound!
                      by ChaosLegionnaire
so i took out one of my spare gigabyte ep35-ds3r mobos from storage for use to do some cpu, ram and video card testing of stuff i bought from ebay and got for free from momaka. he bought 50 e8400 cpus for cheap from ebay some years ago and i decided to help him relieve him of some of his supply since he had waaaay too many!! what did we say about hoarding too much stuff and depriving others of them?! *cough* socialism *cough* lol!

i had to blow some dust off the board and heatsinks with the datavac as i didnt clean it up before putting it in storage. after finishing...

Vizio M65-E0 No Picture, No Sound
                      by ggil44
Hi I inherited a Vizio M65-E0 that isn't working. It must have been dropped on the corner because I found that the infrared circuit had a capacitor with one end broken off of the board and some green corrosion around the plug to the main board. I re-soldered the capacitor and cleaned the corrosion well and tried turning the M65-E0 on and I was successful. My problem is that while the back lights come on and appear to perform local dimming there is no picture or sound. It kind of looks like you are looking at the TV through a very dense fog, where changing the input on the remote will change bright...

Grundig Vision 9 37 9880 T USB (Chassis SR) TV Repair Help - Distorted Subwoofer Sound and overall weird sound waveforms
                      by LEECH666
                      Good day ladies and gentleman!

I am currently trying to repair a Grundig Vision 9 37 9880 T USB LCD TV for a friend that has a weird audio problem. Basically everything works fine except for the heavily distorted sound when the Subwoofer module is connected and there is a buzzing sound coming from the PSU PCB.

This seems to be a rather rare TV so there is not much prior on topic help to be found however a service manual is available at the usual sources (Electro Tanya i.e.).

I think the PSU buzzing comes from one of the coils near the bridge rectifier but...

vizio E60-E3 backlights, sound, no video
                      by ajshoe
Have a free Vizio E60-E3 pickup - sound and backlights work. set turns on and stays on for a period then cycles off and back on. NO VIDEO. If I remove left side (from front of TV) of TCON cable - set has pic on right side (from front of TV) with white screen on left side. With right side TCON cable disconnected - no pic on either side.
Does this mean remove right side (from front of TV) tabs ?

Like a second opinion before possibly destroying set....
