Help, My Samsung TV suddenly decided to die on me
.
After reading some of the posts, it would seem that other members have had the same problem of the dreaded flashing red LED and no picture. I checked and found that the backlight was on, so it would appear that the power board was okay as I could not see any bulged capacitors.
I did however find that the small 2 amp fuse on the Lcon board was blown and also a small inductance was also burnt up.
I purchased an identical board of ebay, and fitted this but on powering up, the very same inductance burnt up on the replacement board.
Not wanting to purchase yet another Lcon board and blow this one as well, My questions are: was this just a faulty board in the same manner as the original?
or is it a fault with another board or the screen itself.
I have not heard of the screen blowing the LCON board, but if anyone has any suggestions as where to go next I would be very grateful.
