      The VGH seems a little low. I cannot be 100% sure though.

        When you did the removal test, did anything appear on either side of the panel?

          this is what im getting now on the left hand side of the tv it keeps flashing on and off since playing around with the ribbon

            So, this is with left hand side connected, right hand side disconnected?
            What about the other way around?

            I am suspecting the LCD panel is at fault.

              ok the picture above is if your facing the front of the telly the left ribbon is in,so i remove the right ribbon still the same so i put back the right ribbon and remove the left and the effect just gets duller

                        I cannot be sure, but I am personally suspect of the LCD panel. It could be the T-con, but I would say that is less likely than an LCD panel fault.
