"More update. If I unplug one of four connectors that go to lcd panel, turn on TV, turn TV off, and then plug that connector back, and turn on TV, then the picture is almost 100% good. Maybe some problem with power supply on T-con board?"
That is aout the same symptom as the LG I worked on.

I changed the capacitors in the power supply, just in case, but it's still the same. I can get it working if I turn on and off the TV, until the picture is ok. But when I turn it off, the picture is bad again. Any more ideas?

If I buy a new T-con board, which one is compatible? This?

The part number "FRCM_TCON_V0.1" must be the same and the t-con must have the same connectors/connections.

Samsung UN55MU8000 - Backlight But No Picture Problem
              by KYBOSH
              Hello all

I pick this up free as a repair project for the holidays.
The original symptom was power cycling after 3-4 seconds with a single red light flash.

To remedy this I went through and unplugged each component 1x1 and discovered that when the FFC cables were disconnected the backlights stayed on and the TV did not reboot.

I tried remove one or the other to see which side of the display was causing the issue (expecting to see half a picture to show) but didn't see anything. But the boot loop only appears when the top FFC cable (right side...

Samsung UN60EH6000F Black Screen, Backlight and Sound Good. Power Cycle Returns Picture
              by Mgiffune
I have a 60 inch Samsung UN60EH6000F flatscreen TV. The screen went black a few months ago Sound is good, backlight is good, no menu. I replaced the TCon board with a used board purchased from Ebay. It worked fine for a 3-4 months, then the screen started ‘fading' back. Once again, sound is good, backlight is good, no menu. However, this time the picture looks fine for about 10-15 minutes, then fades back. If I power cycle the TV, the display reappears, for another 10-15 minutes, then fades black again. Repeatable ever time.

I ordered a supposedly ‘new' Tcon board this time, and

              Hello all,

This is my first post, but long term lurker on the form learning as much as possible about these TV's. I was given this TV as due to a power outage of constant On/off of power to TV. The TV originally would just click on and off (Typical Reboot Cycle). I opened the back of the TV, and troubleshooted by taking the 96 pin LVDS off one at a time to see if I had a picture on either side. I finally fixed the reboot cycle by finding the error on the left side of the screen off connector CN 1301, and the TV would stay on. Further troubleshooting led me to the driver boards where...
