Had very similar problem with Bravia 40s2530. Then brought to service,as couldnt find the mistake. They reinstalled firmware and now is OK. There was the same 30 second work,than off,than another 30 secs,than red blinking 9 or 10 times. SO, try this. Hope will help.Leave a comment:

Hi, I saw similar problem on my lcd TV. The flex connectors on the top of the panel-T-con,someone disconected earlier. But, when turned back, few of the metal connectors were distorted. When I made straight and carefully connected in T-con, the stripes were gone.Leave a comment:

The back light doesnt show flickering. Only the picture it self.

Hi to all,
I have Samsung LE37A656. The picture was gone. I found out that on a 100Hz board ( it is separate part on this model) , a voltage regulator 4435 had short connection. Changed it and got 12 volts gain for T-con and the picture was back again.
But, the TV is flickering like stroboscope. But, if the bright and contrast are down to about 30 on the scale, than the picture is stable,but dark. If there are brighter parts on the screen,than it flickers again.Also, on the bright picture,there are a sort of ghost-parts , like shadows,and they dissapear if the picture gets darker.If... -

Opened the metal bezel and found the small metal preset. Tried in small steps. No change in flickering . Only some change in brightness of the panel. SO, put it back in start position.Leave a comment:

I cant see any preset here. Looking from back, the main board, 100HZ are on right side + T-con at the top. The power boar is in the middle and light unit on left. Everything is fixed, no preset is available as I can see. ANy preset on the edge of the panel ,under the metal frame????Leave a comment:

Hi to all. I have Samsung LE37A656 ( Europa). There was no picture on the screen. Found out that on a 100 Hz board a voltage regulator 4435b was out . Zero ohms on the instrument.. Than got 12 volts and the picture.
But, it is flickering. The more intense contrast and light,or bright scenes, more flickering.
If the light and contrast are about 25-30 0n the scale, than no flickering,except darker images. ANy sugestions or ideas? Power supply probelm? T-con?Leave a comment:
