Andersson "Vestel" LCD no picture

Yet another Vestel TV problem.
This is made under the brand "Andersson" and problem is no picture is shown. Sound is working OK.
Backlight turns on, the obvious PSU outputs OK (+24V, +5V, +3.3V)
But there are no image at all.
A brief check of the onboard voltage regulators on mainboard revealed nothing abnormal. Picture processing IC's normal heat during operation.
Could this be a T-CON failure?
Please check the attached pictures.

Probably not the issue but is that a bulged cap I see near the connectors?

Also, could you upload a shot of the t-con?

Bottom of the power board. There are connectors, from the left over three connectors and up there are two capacitors, the one on the left looks like a bulged cap.

Yeah, you're right. It sure looks bulged. I thought I was carefully check the caps on the psu board, but still missed one of them.
Will check if this might solve the problem. Still, the output voltages are correct from the psu.

The fuse on these T-con tends to blow without obvious cause. Just replace the fuse and it will usually fix it.

Thanks Tom, I see you are very familiar with those Vestel's aswell
By the way - this psu has two 18nF caps instead of the normal failing 15nF.
Do you know if those 18nF's last longer? It appears aswell that the 18nF caps are another kind, probably cope better with high Dv/Dt.

18nF is necessary for older 37" and some 42", you have 17PW16 I think, which is higher power PSU for bigger screen.

Well, reason for asking was actually that I won't be close to this set in a few days. So to save time I wanted to source the correct kind of fuse. When I check the T-con I will see the fuse, but if you had a picture of that fuse right now I could source it right away.

Bad luck, found a blown SMD fuse on logic board. Changed this, but then screen goes white, so obviously this T-con is bad...
The left part of the screen is all white and the right part is like bright gray.

As Garry stated so clearly there was a bulged cap on the powersupply. I was so focused on the T-con so I actually forgot to replace that
When it's replaced, the set is back in life again!
Guess the excessive supply ripple killed the T-con fuse.
I send my apology to Marty if I choosed the wrong words (I blame my bad English) and sounded crude, not my intention.

Haha glad it's fixed! And that was me that originally pointed out a bad cap Good job! I've got two here now that I wish I could solve.
