Hello if anyone has the service manual / schematics for either the Powersoft Digam Q3002 (or Q4004 or very similair) or the K3 , all models in "K-series" is OK since they are very similair.
I will appreciate it a lot.
Thank you to the guys at HEGE supporting Badcaps [ HEGE ] [ HEGE DEX Chart ]

Please close the thread. Problem solved.

Re: Denon DN-501C CD-player not reading CD
Finally solved. After some more troubleshooting the laser pickup flatcable was faulty, it had several broken strands.
After replacing the CD works nicely.

Hello. Thanks for the Denon service manual. I still have not made this player work. Do you have a Russian site that could give datasheet for laser pickups? I want to know the difference between EP-HD870PB and SF-HD870. It might be the case I have got the wrong type of pickup. Thanks

Laser pickup EP-HD870PB vs SF-HD870
Hello
Anyone came across datasheets for the laser pickups:
EP-HD870PB
SF-HD870
I want to know the differences if any

Re: Denon DN-501C CD-player not reading CD
The original pickup has partnumber EP-HD870PB and I replaced it with SFHD870 after reading some info that it should be compatible, but does anyone know if this is true ?

Re: Denon DN-501C CD-player not reading CD
I had the chance to try another cd drive from another Denon DN unit and that also does not work in this maschine
So it seems the fault is in the control board.
(The drive works in the other maschine)

Re: Denon DN-501C CD-player not reading CD
Even after replacing the laser pickup (and desolder the ESD protection) the player behaves exactly the same.
During TOC read, there are ZERO output from the RF front-end chip. My question is what level the RF should be on the pick-out itself before the preamp, anyone knows ?
(Typically)

Re: Denon DN-501C CD-player not reading CD
Thanks to the service manual I could measure the laser pickup was worn out. The current regulator showed a very much higher value than limit.
So a new pickup is ordered.

Re: Denon DN-501C CD-player not reading CD
Please tell how you came to that conclusion.
Cause the focus error is so big and pull the sled? Due to no signal from pickup?

Re: Denon DN-501C CD-player not reading CD
Thanks
I cleaned the sled with isopropanol there are no difference
The homeposition switch is measured ok
Here is a youtube vid of the problem:

Denon DN-501C CD-player not reading CD
Hello, I have tried to see what could be the problem in this CD-player with no luck.
The service manual for Denon pro gear is hard to come by.
The player loads the CD, spin the disc, but instead of focus adjustment the sled itself is jumping a few millimeters, and tries about 5-6 times and shows "Media Error"
The CD-transport itself has a partnumber of TD-S208PR-6, not much of info able to find.
This can be a problem with the PCB itself, but most often the transport is the problem....

Re: LG OLED 55B7V does not start
I started off by checking the youtube vid below:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WHjJpT77jpY
14:08 in the vid he probes resistance across a voltage converter MLCC bank.
In my case I could see a small crack in the cap so I did not need to go for current injection and thermal camera method.
Also attach a screenshot of area from vid.Re: LG OLED 55B7V does not start<br ...pY<br />...

Re: LG OLED 55B7V does not start
When I turn on the set without the 24V connector from PSU side connected, the optical port stays on for 10 seconds.
EDIT: Found the issue - a shorted ceramic 10uF cap on the T-CON board. Now it works!Last edited by PowerAmpFreak; 09-09-2022, 09:35 AM.

LG OLED 55B7V does not start
LG OLED 55B7V respond to power-on button, PSU goes on for a second then stops.
No sign of picture nor sound.
Any advice?
The PSU has two main outputs. One +12V and one +24V. The 12V supply is running for like 5 seconds, and the +24V output shuts off after a second.
If disconnecting the loads, the voltages stays on both of them, until the diagnostics turns off the PSU.
Sourcing the +24V continously from external PSU does not change behaviour.
Thanks in advance!...Last edited by PowerAmpFreak; 09-08-2022, 11:06 AM.

Re: DELL Latitude 7280 does not start
Yes its really strange.
What I did not mention before was that this model has two charging options. It has the standard Dell connector and USB-C.
The standard connector was damaged, It had broken pins inside the connector.
I simply removed the connector put it aside.
But that should not affect anything?...

Re: DELL Latitude 7280 does not start
Yes but there can't be a thermal paste issue, the PC has been running properly for several hours and passes all the diag tests including CPU benchtest.
Fan starts up correctly when needed.
I have no clue what caused the odd behaviour and refuse to boot. Now I have installed Win10 and everything seems fine.

Re: Sony KD-55X8505 not able to start
In my case, as the OP, the set does not even try to start-up, either BL or any form of sign of life. All the voltages from PSU are OK.
@Microtechservice do you have the details for this set how to replace the EMMC ?
