Wondering if anyone knows what could be causing this Rca L32hd32d to have a washed out appearance and inverted colors? All functions work and the unit stays powered on with full backlight. A reset just seems to dull things down a bit but color inversion and lack of sharpness persist.

Re: Rca L32hd32d washed out, inverted colors
Reviewing your helpful guides and forum links I wonder if my issue might be the AS19-HG which is on this T-Con board. For 3 bucks I might give it a try using "ChipQuik" to remove it and drag soldering to replace it.Comment

by dbuergiHi all,
i got a A1990 which shows strange colors. Sometimes looking faded or like a water mark and only visible when the cursor moves over the spot. With an external display everything looks fine.
So is there anything i can do on my own to fix this issue?
It doesn't look like the flexgate macs i have seen....2 Photos -
by ojmcBackground:
- Hisense 65H6570G stopped working and I root caused to a burnt out LED in the backlight. (For anyone interested the power light pattern when the backlight has gone is 1) two long flashes, 2) a very short third flash, then 3) back to solid red )
- I replaced all 6 of the backlight LED strips with these replacements: amazon
- The TV worked again perfectly for ~2 weeks.
- After that 2 weeks the colors became "inverted". The TV powers on and shows the boot screen in correct colors initially (aqua hisense logo on black background, pic on the left) but a few seconds after boot

by silikon77Hi!
Got an 70 inch Philips tv model 70pus7855/12 from scraps and I decidet to give it a go. I'm an enthusiast but no porfessional in the electronics.
Found some advices watching youtube nad came up with this:
It came with no picture, after diagnosing it I found out that the right side of the T.con board was faulty.
I taped down the clock signals and I got a picture but the left side of the panel has less pronounced colours. Only the right 3rd side of the panel has good colors.
See attached picture.
I tried a few combinations to block individual clock...1 Photo01-02-2025, 02:26 PM -
by mecha1166I am getting these 70 inch Samsungs daily. Dead set light comes on goes off, dark screen. Tried taping the problem lvds cable pins 13 to ? pin, used about 9 mm scotch tape. Picture comes on, no distortion lines, looks good, but 1/2 of screen is washed out. Problem seems to always be the last little strip on the bottom. Has anyone found what is actually the problem? Possibly one of three diodes there? I have a pic but it is washed out on 1/2. Anyony had success in fully restoring the picture? Thanks.1 Photo07-03-2024, 05:03 PM

by captainKKKI have referenced https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?t=35193.
I seem to have the washed out pictures on my Samsung LN37A550P3FXZA. And have tested my T-con board voltages. My problem is that the board does not give the numbered sequence so I can easily tell if they are increasing/decreasing in order. So I number them myself as in my attached pictures and the voltages are:
