keith it may be advisable to start your own new thread as some times when there really long some members wont read them i also advise if you can to explain what your set symptoms are and what you have checked if you can also post up a picture of each boards in your set we might be able to spot something your missing.Comment

Re: Samsung LN40B500P3F power on issue
OK, put in the new fuse (3.1A fuse) and remove the main AC fuse, then put the lamp on that fuse clip instead.
Then lift one leg of the inductor BD901 (on page 2 of the diagram). Then use the Ohm meter in 200 Ohm scale and check the resistance between one end (either end of this new fuse) of the 3.15A fuse and the negative leg of any of the two large cap to see what you get.Comment

by Drewwol11Hi all,
My Samsung TV display recently stopped working while I was playing PS4 (no storm or anything to indicate a power surge). I could still hear audio through the PS4 but no display. The TV kept trying to turn on but would turn off after a second or two.
I tried the obvious troubleshooting steps like unplugging, replugging, trying different outlets and power cords with no luck. Someone on another forum suggested that it may be a power supply issue so I purchased a replacement power supply board but that did not help. I then disconnected the main board from the...08-31-2021, 09:32 AM -
by lp20thI have a vintage 2008 Samsung 50” Plasma TV, Model code PN50A550S1FXZA with a power supply part number BN44-00222A. I repaired the power supply board several years ago finding a couple of cold solder joints on the back side of the board and it's worked great up until now. Recently a fried sound occurred with the smell of burnt electronics and the TV shut down. Trying to turn it back on yielded the typical relay clicking with no TV boot up. Upon investigation, removing feeds to the other boards within the TV it was found that disconnecting the logic board from the power supply allowed the...

by justice171I am seeking guidance on an Acer Spin 1 SP111-33 that does not turn on when pressing the power button.
Below are the observations and troubleshooting steps I have taken so far: Observations and Tests:- Verified that all critical voltages are present:
- 3.3V and 5V are always present if DC is plugged.
- 1.8V on the BIOS chip is present.
- Checked the power button functionality:
- When pressed, the voltage drops to 0V, indicating the button is functional.
- Inspected the flex cable connecting the USB, audio, and power button to JUB1:
- Confirmed connectivity is intact, ruling out issues
